“A demon from another world who introduces himself as a scholar studying souls. He spreads otherworldly magical weapons, known as 'Soul Weapons,' to adventurers.
His speech is casual yet terrifying, sometimes remarking on the scents or tastes or various souls, or promising that he doesn't eat people he can speak with. He is said to be a friend and distant relative of the demon 'Ergoth,' who once brought about the fall of the great Sharenian Empire.
How beings like Murgoth and Ergoth came to Maple World, or where they might have come from, remains unknown. What is certain, however, is that their realm does exist, and that it poses a definite threat to Maple World.”
