The Boss Content UI in the Maple Guide, with a list of major bosses.
For a full list of bosses, see Category:Bosses.

Bosses are a special type of monster that are much stronger than other monsters. Their attacks can be more difficult to deal with, and have unique attack patterns and special abilities, but the rewards for beating difficult bosses are greater.

Apart from directly walking or navigating to the map, players can navigate to the boss map directly by using the following methods:

  • The Boss Contents UI, accessible in the menu, allows players to move to boss entry maps, set up and recruit players into parties and match with other players based on Combat Power, Legion, Arcane Power or Sacred Power levels.
  • The Maple Guide lists bosses by difficulty and shows a selected list of possible rewards.
  • The Maple Planner separates the list of bosses into daily, weekly and monthly bosses and keeps track of which bosses have been defeated.

When navigating using these shortcuts, the exit will move the player to their original location.

Major Bosses

Major bosses are bosses shown in the Boss Content section of the Maple Guide. The majority of major bosses drop Intense Power Crystals, which can be sold for Mesos to the Collector.

Beginning in the Assemble Update, players are limited to 12 Weekly Boss clears per character per week in Non-GMS and Non-CMS servers.

Practice Mode

Weekly and Monthly bosses are eligible for Practice Mode, allowing players to enter a boss without any required items or entry restrictions. In addition, players can also apply certain buffs for free during Practice Mode without needing to consume your own buffs. Previously applied buffs of the same type will be removed upon entering Boss Practice Mode, and any restrictions that exist for the normal versions of these buffs will also apply to the Fog Forest Training Ground counterparts. The buffs included are as follows:

In ChinaMS, despite the implementation of the Minimum Combat Power Entry Limit, Practice Mode is unaffected by the requirement, so players can still practice a boss's attack patterns before meeting requirements.

Trivia

  • The "Chaos" difficulty is only meant for non-Humanoid type bosses, such as Pink Bean, Guardian Angel Slime, Giant Monster Gloom, and Kalos the Guardian. Meanwhile, the difficulty "Hard" is only meant for Humanoid type bosses.
