A peaceful village at the center of Victoria Island. Filled with giant mushrooms and lush green fields, It's famous as a training ground for Bowmen.
Warmth and vitality flow throughout the village. This is the starting point for countless adventurers.

Henesys is an area in southern Victoria Island. It is a town inhabited by people who live in mushroom houses, and as such there are mushrooms in the outskirts of town. Henesys is one of the busiest towns in Maple World, and many classes end up traveling here by Level 30 to meet with its leaders Chief Stan and Athena Pierce. Explorer Beginners can choose to become Bowmen here by talking to Athena Pierce in the Bowman Instructional School.

The town can be accessed on foot via Six Path Crossway, as well as via the Regular Cab in Victoria available in all major Victoria Island towns. It is divided into three sections: North of Henesys, a path which is populated by both normal and Cynical Orange Mushrooms; Singing Mushroom Forest, a path where non-orange mushrooms of varying types can be found; the Golem's Temple, a temple that is home to Stone Golems that serves as Francis the Puppeteer's hideout. Two field bosses can be encountered here: Mushmom and Blue Mushmom, two giant mushrooms.

Partem can be accessed via Spore Hill, while Mushroom Castle can be accessed via Blue Mushroom Forest 2. The area North of Henesys is connected to Nautilus via the Farm owned by Evan's family.

Through the Closet House within town, players may also travel to Friends World and take part in FriendStory upon reaching Level 100.

Trivia

• The term "Henesys" (the name in GMS) derives from the Korean transliteration of "Genesis".
• Before the Big Bang Update, KoreaMS originally had several World Tour areas, namely Zipangu, The Far East, Taiwan, and Thailand. In 2009, KoreaMS removed these areas and added some of the field bosses to certain locations in Maple World. Blue Mushmom, originally from Zipangu's Mushroom Shrine, was placed in Korean Folk Town, with the original Monster Book description reading as follows:

• Maybe it's because Mushmoms always prefer to be indoors. Who knows? In any case, the Blue Mushmoms have found a new house to inhabit. But they picked the wrong house! The Goblins of Korean Folk Town are having a heck of a time dealing with the Blue Mushmoms who have suddenly taken over their home. The Blue Mushmoms don't give a hoot about the King Goblins' nagging. They adore their newfound dilapidated home.

After the Big Bang Update, Blue Mushmom was removed from Korean Folk Town and added to Henesys.
