Vulpes is a town in Grandis's eastern region located in the Northern Front of the realm. It consists of Fox Point Village, a small village that is inhabited by the Pointy-Ear Fox Anima, and is surrounded by a massive tree and towering stone peaks. All the Fox Anima are capable of wielding the power of spirits, a gift they received from the Fox God they worship. Shade ends up here after he sacrifices his existence to seal the Black Mage. As he befriends Moonbeam, she gives him the guardian spirit bestowed upon her by the Fox God to keep him safe. When he learns of an opportunity to return to Maple World, each of the fox residents gives him a portion of their power as a parting gift. Shade characters start here upon creation, with their introductory questline centered around getting adjusted to living in the village, eventually being welcomed as an honorary fox by its residents.
This region cannot be accessed by foot, and is only accessible during Shade's questline. It is surrounded by the Eclipse and Tear Rock Hills to the west and the Blossom, Arumaru, and Tail Valleys to the east. Fox Valley is located to the northeast, but it is not directly accessible via Fox Point Village.
