Lynn is a Jianghu Magician released during the v.250: Mayple Island[4] Update in GMS. In CMS, TMS[5], GMS[6], and JMS[7], Beast Tamer characters were converted to Lynn. In MSEA, Lynn will be released during the Crown Update.

Born in the Eternal Forest of Jianghu, Lynn is the next incarnation of the Forest Child, the protector of the Eternal Forest alongside her three Spirit Guide companions: Pan the Earth Guardian bear, Penni the Sky Guardian bird, and Paeon the Life Guardian wolf. Together with the Spirit Guides, Lynn must awaken her power as the Forest Child in order to save Gaia the Forest Master from the curse of eternal rest.

Story

Main article: Lynn/Story

In the Eternal Forest of Jianghu, a child named Lynn grew up under the supervision of Pan, the Earth Guardian - a bear tasked with protecting her in secret, as he believed Lynn to be the reincarnation of the Forest Child. As Lynn grew older, Pan decided to bring Lynn to see Gaia, the Forest Master, in order to ascertain whether she was indeed the Forest Child. Along the way, dark monsters with the curse of eternal slumber began attacking the pair, causing Lynn to recall Pan's name from her memories of her past lives. Because of this, Pan was able to awaken his true power, allowing him to defeat the curse monsters. The pair then arrived at the Samsara Spring, where Gaia revealed that the Forest Child kept her power circulating throughout the forest, and that she would need to find the three Spirit Guides and recall their names to fully awaken that power.

With Gaia falling into an unnatural slumber, Lynn and Pan began a journey to find the other Spirit Guides. They soon discovered Penni the Sky Guardian, whom Lynn awakened after recalling Penni's name as the curse monsters attacked him. Unable to find the Life Guardian, however, Lynn decided to venture out of the Eternal Forest and into Maple World, where she began helping others and growing her powers. Eventually, Lynn encountered Paeon the Life Guardian, who resented Lynn for the selfish actions of her past lives. Within her mind, Lynn recalled memories of several of her past lives refusing their destiny, leaving the Spirit Guides in destitution, with one incarnation even selling Gaia's magical horns for profit. To Paeon's surprise, however, Lynn took responsibility for the actions of her past lives and promised to fulfill her role, to which Paeon reluctantly agreed to lend his power and save Gaia.

Eventually, however, Lynn and the Spirit Guides came face to face with the Ancient God Hypnos - the previous Forest Master who had cursed the Eternal Forest to fall asleep forever until Gaia - alongside Lynn's first incarnation and the Spirit Guides - had defeated Hypnos and driven him away. Following this, the Forest Child and the Spirit Guides had anchored their lives to the Great Tree at the Samsara Spring, which had allowed them to keep remembering their past lives as they reincarnated and circulated Gaia's benevolent power across the forest. However, Hypnos' power had continued growing stronger whenever Lynn's incarnations would refuse their destiny, allowing his curse to spread and weaken Gaia. Though Lynn and the Spirit Guides defeated Hypnos, the Dark Forest Master was nevertheless able to destroy the Great Tree, severing the reincarnation cycle and destroying Gaia's physical body. Embracing her strength and legacy, Lynn and the Spirit Guides reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the Eternal Forest, vowing to use Gaia's sacrifice and make the most of their last life together.

  • On December 29 2023, Lynn's artwork appeared at ChinaMS Fest[8][9][10] first.
  • Beast Tamer and Lynn have the same Link Skill and Legion effect.
    • In ChinaMS, TaiwanMS, and JapanMS, the Link Skill is capped at Level 2 instead of Level 3.
  • Unlike Beast Tamer, Lynn has a standard set of 1st~4th job advancement skills.
    • Beast Tamer could distribute skill points throughout four different animal skill trees, whose skills were unlocked by leveling up.
  • Completing Lynn Quests up to Level 100 is required to advance to 4th Job.
