Swanson is the manager of the Gold Beach Resort and an employee of Gold Richie. He tasks an adventurer with remedial chores as he is understaffed and overworked. He does not get along well with Gold Richie's son Little Richie, and hates having to serve him.
In FriendStory, his counterpart is Cygnus's private chauffeur and goes by the name of 'Kim'. He is annoyed by Cygnus' frequent mishaps.
In the Hotel Maple 16th Anniversary event[1], Swanson is the manager of the eponymous Hotel, and also the chef. He appears frequently to reward the player with Sweet 16 Coins after they hunt a certain amount of level-appropriate monsters.
