Cleanup suggestions

A couple of possible cleanup suggestions:

1) I'm pretty sure the ones that give an HP/MP boost don't give a % boost that high. Nearly all the ones I've seen have given flat number bonuses around that size, so we definitely need to reverify those.

2) We should add a Source column to differentiate which ones are Crafted, quest-given or drop only.

I'm actually not sure why the % boost was put there (it's not just on rings, it's on other equipment as well). It was placed there before I became the admin of the Wikia, and I've been too swamped with other things to take care of it. As for the source column, maybe, but that could also be placed in the page for the equipment itself.--PirateIzzy (talk) 19:20, July 31, 2015 (UTC)

Adding level tabs to the table

The list of rings is quite long, and it can't be separated by class like some other equipment types can. To make it easier to read, I was thinking about adding in tabs for the rings based on level. Something like lvl 1-30, 31-60, 61-100, 101+. That way, if someone is looking for a ring for third job they don't have to scroll down, they can just tab over to the third job rings and find them there, where most of them should be able to fit on a single page.StellerL (talk) 21:48, February 14, 2016 (UTC)

I think that would be a good idea, as there are very few job-exclusive rings. Same with Shoulders.--PirateIzzy (talk) 21:57, February 14, 2016 (UTC)

Potential

Should we add (Cannot Gain Potential) lines to the main rings page, or is it just inferred because so many can't? or should there be a pottable marker next to the ones that can gain potential? idk. also, is scarlet ring/VIP ring still in the "obtainable" category because you can get them in auction house? or what's up w/that --Apollo01 20:44, January 12, 2025 (UTC)

I think we can omit it as it's already implied. The main reason it's included in the Event Ring tab is because most of them don't have slots, which is usually an indicator that an item cannot have potential (with some exceptions). Scarlet Ring is (was?) usually obtainable in lootboxes like Marvel, Philosopher's Books, Gachapon, etc., while VIP Ring might be obtainable in ChinaMS. I can try to figure out if it drops there or not since CMS still has the Alien Visitor PQ.
