Promoting this Wiki
Hi Kalthalan, this wiki is looking really good! I work in Marketing at Wikia and its my job to help promote wikis that have high potential and help them attract more editors, more content, and then more readers :) There are a few things we can do and I would love to brainstorm these and other ideas you have..
- Add Maple Wiki to a spotlight across wikia so other wikia users come check this out.
- Promotion on gaming.wikia.com- to do this we would need you to submit an article (either one of your existing ones or a new one written especially to attract new writers)
- Google Ads - on Search or other Warhammer Online forum sites
- User contests/article drives with prizes paid for by Wikia
Are there specific fan sites/forums that most maplestory players hang out at? I am sure some of these ideas are better than others, so would love to hear your feedback.. Feel free to email me too at angie at wikia.com angies (talk) 21:49, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Increasing activity
Something should be done to increase activity of the wiki. We need a forum for people to chat on and more admins to monitor and fix stuff.
