“The Chief of El Nath. It may surprise one to know that he is incredibly old, having lived for hundreds of years. In that time, he has made connections with many figures and accumulated a remarkable amount of knowledge.
There are so many tales involving Alcaster that some sound more like myth than reality. He is said to have known the adventurer Sayram from hundreds of years ago, and in Magatia, he's regarded as a renowned alchemist and an authority on inverse attribute experiments. In my role gathering information for the archive, I was unable to verify whether all of these claims are true.
In the present day, the method by which All Cure Potions are made is widely known, but there was a time at which only Alcaster knew how to brew them. Speaking from experience, this chronicler has managed to recover from several dicey situations thanks to All Cure Potions received from Alcaster. Although it has been a number of years since I last made such a request, I still keenly feel a sense of gratitude toward him.
His most cherished memory is of the childhood he spent with his mentor, Aurelia, who fell in battle during a war long ago. Grieved that he never had the chance to say a proper farewell to one who meant so much to him, the traces left behind by his mentor have always been a source of pain and longing for him.
If you ever happen upon a bottle of 'Aurelia's Elixir, be sure to show it to him. He may share with you stories of the warmth of El Nath's mountains as he vividly remembers them.”
