Goblin was one of the many Yellow King Goblins who resided in Korean Folk Town's Black Mountain. He befriended a Nine-Tailed Fox (who he nicknamed "Snowy"). However, the Nine-Tailed Fox found out about the 7 Stones of Korean Folk Town (based on the 7 Deadly Sins), and decided to steal them to turn into a human. The power of the stones led to a massive fire in the Black Mountain, which led to the Nine-Tailed Fox falling off the cliff and being presumed dead by Goblin, while she had been transformed into a human to atone for the crime of stealing the stones. She was later discovered by Wiz the Librarian at Goblin Hill, who took her in as an assistant.

Two years later, Goblin stole the stones once again and used to corrupt the residents of Korean Folk Town, which leads to Wiz calling the player to help recover the stones. The last stone is in the possession of Goblin, who is enraged at the loss of his friend "Snowy" and engulfs the Black Mountain in flames again with the power of the last stone. Moni's memories return, and she convinces Goblin of her identity by referring to herself as "Snowy". Goblin, realizing his mistake, jumps off the cliff to stop the power of the stone and atone for his crimes. Moni stays by his side in his final moments.
