The reset window for Inner Ability.

Inner Ability is an enhancement system that provides up to three passive stat lines. These bonuses can significantly impact your damage output, farming efficiency and gameplay. They can be rerolled using Honor EXP or Circulators.

Each character has access to three Inner Ability presets, allowing different setups for training, bossing and utility purposes.

Inner Ability Presets

Players can save up to three presets and switch between them freely outside of combat.

Common uses for presets are:

  • Training preset: focus on meso and drop rate bonuses
  • Bossing preset: focus on class-specific damage output
  • Boss opening/drop preset: focuses on drop rate for reward boxes

Rolling Inner Ability

Each inner ability line has a rank. The top line can reach Legendary, and the second and third lines are capped at Unique. The overall Inner Ability rank is determined by the top line. Rerolling costs scale with rank.

To reroll the lines, Honor EXP is required. It can be obtained through:

  • Monster kills (Medal of Honor)
  • Weekly bossing
  • Mu Lung Dojo rewards
    • For late-game players, it's possible to buy items that convert a character's untradeable Honor EXP into a Coupon that can be transferred through storage.

When rerolling, you are randomly given the following, of which the probability depends on the rank:

  • A line type (e.g. Boss Damage %, Attack) at a certain percentage
  • A line value (e.g. 15-20% Boss Damage) at a certain percentage

Circulators

When rolling with Honor EXP, the values can fall within a range. These are tabulated here. For example, Boss Damage (Legendary) has a range from 15% to 20% and there is a set probability for each value.

  • Miracle Circulator
    • Has a high chance to rank up the top line
    • Always rolls maximum possible values for each line
    • Provides a before/after choice
    • Commonly used to reach Legendary or to obtain optimal values
  • Legendary Circulator
    • Instantly upgrades the top line to Legendary
    • Usually obtained from event shops
    • Best used on boss mules or low activity characters
  • Chaos Circulator
    • Rerolls the values only, not the stats or ranks
    • Values can increase or decrease
    • No before/after choice
  • Black Circulator
    • Rerolls values only
    • Provides a before/after choice
    • Used to reroll and optimize values safely

In early to mid-game, prioritize getting to the Legendary top line only. The most important stat is 20% Mesos Obtained for training, and the bossing preset only needs an optimal top-line stat (for example, STR for Warrior). The second and third lines can be ignored.

In late to end-game, optimize second and third lines using circulators. Lock ideal second and third lines.

You can roll the top line with Honor during 50% off Ability Reset events. A fully min-maxed Inner Ability, with top values and top lines, is considered an end-game optimization.

Optimal inner ability lines vary by class:

  • Attack Speed: for many Explorer classes which do not have a Hurricane-like skill
  • Boss Damage: for burst-focused classes
  • Buff Duration for Explorer Mages
  • Cooldown Skip for cooldown-reliant classes
