Pre-requisites
Available The sages eventually decide to help you. However, making the Genesis Weapon your own will be no easy feat.

* Accept the [Destiny Weapon] The Adversary's Determination quest to open the Destiny Weapon window. There, you can view quest details and continue the story.
In Progress To focus your resolve into the weapon, you must defeat Grandis's strongest warriors. First up is defeating Kaling under the mission conditions.

* Accept the [Destiny Weapon] The Adversary's Determination quest to open the Destiny Weapon window. There, you can view quest details and continue the story.
Completed You fought one of Grandis's most powerful warriors and channeled that resolve into your weapon.
Procedure
  1. Talk to Haia by clicking on the light-bulb.
  2. Eliminate Kaling [Hard Mode] in Destiny Mode:
    1. 20% Final Damage increase
    2. Must be defeated alone
  3. Obtain 3,000 Adversary's Determination by eliminating the following bosses at certain difficulties (divided evenly based on the number of party members, even if there are any party members who have completed the Destiny Weapon questline; up to 3,000 Adversary's Determination can be accumulated and any remaining amount can be used towards the following quest):
  1. Seren [Hard Mode] (6 Adversary's Determination)
  2. Kalos the Guardian [Normal Mode] (10 Adversary's Determination)
  3. First Adversary [Normal Mode] (20 Adversary's Determination)
  4. Malefic Star [Normal Mode] (20 Adversary's Determination)
  5. Kaling [Normal Mode] (20 Adversary's Determination)
  6. Kalos the Guardian [Chaos Mode] (70 Adversary's Determination)
  7. Seren [Extreme Mode] (80 Adversary's Determination)
  8. Limbo [Normal Mode] (120 Adversary's Determination)
  9. First Adversary [Hard Mode] (120 Adversary's Determination)
  10. Baldrix [Normal Mode] (150 Adversary's Determination)
  11. Jupiter [Normal Mode] (160 Adversary's Determination)
  12. Kaling [Hard Mode] (160 Adversary's Determination)
  13. Limbo [Hard Mode] (360 Adversary's Determination)
  14. Malefic Star [Hard Mode] (380 Adversary's Determination)
  15. Kalos the Guardian [Extreme Mode] (400 Adversary's Determination)
