Black Viking is the leader of the Vikings and a character in the revamped Mushroom Castle. After the defeat of King Pepe and the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister sought for revenge, this time seeking the help of the Vikings, telling Black Viking that Princess Violetta is beautiful and worth the attack. Unfortunately Violetta is only attractive to other mushrooms so Black Viking kidnaps her and makes her run a treadmill to power his viking ship.
It is revealed later on in the quest line that Black Viking is a huge fan of MapleStory and he has many dolls of MapleStory characters such as Oz, Mihile, Orchid, and Von Leon, and that "all my friends think its cool."
