Professor Andrada is the professor of combat training at the Crystal Academy. After Darius betrayed the Verdant Flora, Andrada was killed during the Specter invasion of Sanctuary.

Story

The Crystal Academy

After the Verdant Flora were stripped of their magic and exiled by the High Flora, the God of the Verdant Flora created mechanical wings, allowing the Verdant Flora to utilize magic again. When the Verdant Flora were nearly decimated in the battle of Aboris, Agate - the disciple of the God of the Verdant Flora - brought the survivors to a pocket dimension called Sanctuary, where the Verdant Flora rebuilt their society and lived in secrecy. In this new society, Agate abolished the caste system of the Flora and instead created a new system of Seekers, Guardians, and Engineers. In order to preserve their traditions and knowledge, Agate founded the Crystal Academy, where young Verdant Flora learned how to utilize their mytocrystal magic. Professor Andrada served as the instructor on combat studies, teaching young Verdant Flora how to channel their magic both defensively and offensively.

After Illium joined the Crystal Academy, he went to magical combat training, led by Professor Andrada. The students took turns attacking a dummy, but when Illium's turn came, he was only able to use a weak physical attack. Andrada instructed him to gather the mytocrystal energy inside his wings and transfer it to the mytocrystal on the back of his hand in order to launch a magical attack. When he realized that Illium had no wings, he encouraged the boy to find other ways to use magic, even if they were unorthodox. Illium then used one of his mechanical javelins to attack the dummy, causing it to explode. The other students were awestruck by his attack and wondered how he had done it. Andrada was impressed and then instructed the class to eliminate practice robots in the combat training room. Though Illium was unable to meet his quota of robots to destroy, Andrada accepted his work nevertheless.

Fall of Sanctuary

Some time later, Darius betrayed the Verdant Flora and brought the Specter army to invade Sanctuary, having made a deal with Gerand Darmoor in order to regain his original Flora magic. In the aftermath of the battle, Professor Andrada and nearly all the Verdant Flora were wiped out, leaving only Illium and his classmates as the last survivors of their race.
