Selazar is a wandering bard who tells stories of various events across Grandis (Arteria is from Maple World in the lore). He is associated with Epic Dungeons (Epic Dungeon: High Mountain, Epic Dungeon: Angler Company, Epic Dungeon: Nightmare Paradise) that shows the player the past of a specific character. He holds an instrument and has a bird on his shoulder. He dresses according to the atmosphere of the village he is in; in Cernium, he wears a purple hat with feather-like decorations, in Odium, he wears a conical hat and Eastern-style clothing, and in Arteria, he wears the uniform of a soldier of the Cygnus Knights. There are Selazar coins with his face on it.

Trivia
- Selazar's name appears to be derived from Scheherazade of One Thousand and One Nights, but he is actually male, and there is already an NPC named Schegerazade modeled after her.
- Because Selazar appears to possess such complete knowledge of isolated events that he has allegedly never witnessed, it is speculated by some that Selazar is an Ancient God who uses his power to learn about these events. It is also speculated that he is the Unknown Wandering God who appeared in the Night of Phantasms storyline.
