One may be surprised to learn that he was originally a magician--a very promising one, at that. However, he fell into the study of dark magic and strayed down the wrong path, ultimately sacrificing many lives. As punishment for his sins, his body was transformed into that of a Hoblin, leaving him in his current form.
Even so, his efforts to create great magic met with success--it is believed that Genesis, Blizzard, and Meteor Shower were born from his work.”

Shammos is a green Hoblin who resides in the basement of El Nath's Chief's Residence. His story is told by the Story of a Magician book, where he is revealed to have once been a brilliant magician from Ellinia. However, his pursuit of forbidden dark magic ultimately led to his downfall, becoming stripped of his powers by the elders.
