Amos is a healer and the shopkeeper of a general store in Toolen City.

Story

Meeting Kain

While chasing a suspicious individual through Toolen City, Kain encountered Amos on the east side, where she offered to treat his injuries back at her store, calling it a gesture of thanks to the Drakas for protecting the town. Back at her shop, Amos told Kain that she knew that he was looking for the Chameleon Siblings. She explained that the siblings were thieves for hire, and that they occasionally worked with the Biters in exchange for food. Amos asked Kain to go easy on them, as they were just hungry orphans. Just then, the Regulator Sergeant arrived and ordered Kain to return to headquarters.

Some time later, Kain returned to Amos’ shop in order to ask her about the Chameleon Siblings’ whereabouts, as well as ask her about a man named Kudan. Amos told him that the siblings worked for Kudan, who was building up a gang on the west side due to his grudge against the Drakas. Because the fog was so thick on the west side that it made breathing difficult, she told him that the only people who would live there were those who wanted to hide from the Drakas.

After a Drakas sting severely injured Royce, one of the Chameleon Siblings, Kain and Royce's sister, Romina, brought him to Amos, who managed to save his life. Amos then read through a set of research notes about Malice Stones that Kain had obtained, causing her to realize that Kain was the original template from which Malice Stones were created.

After the Drakas uprising nearly wiped out the organization and resulted in the death of his sister, Luska, Kain returned to Amos and told her that he was planning to leave Toolen City and travel the world in order to give context to his long-lost memories. He then asked the Chameleon Siblings what they planned to do, to which they explained that they wanted to stay with Amos. Amos added that with the money that Kain had given them, they wouldn’t need to steal again.

Kain then began to ask one more request of Amos, but she anticipated his question and explained that she had already convinced the community council to lay Luska to rest. She then sent a letter ahead to Coney in Savage Terminal requesting him to introduce Kain to the Shadowdealers.

Luska Missing

Some time after Kain began exploring Maple World, Romina contacted him and explained that Amos wanted to speak with him. In Toolen City, Amos caught Kain up on the situation, explaining that after the community council had taken over security, there hadn't been any major incidents since. She also told him that the council had sent people to recover Luska’s body, and that they had discovered that it was missing. Amos explained that she had looked into the matter personally and was able to corroborate their findings. She then gave him a note that the council had found in the Drakas headquarters, which Kain discovered to be a note from a fellow former Drakas named Illin.

Aftermath

After the battle of Tenebris, Kain decided to visit Amos and the Chameleon Siblings and told them about his adventures. Amos asked Kain what his next plans were, to which he explained that he still needed to find Luska, who had been resurrected and placed under the control of Dr. Y. He then told her that he was worried about his Malice continuing to grow stronger and feared what that would mean if he were to face Luska again. Amos then prayed with Kain that neither he nor Luska need ever use their Malice again.
