Prague is an Ancient God of Tallahart who - alongside the other lesser gods of Tallahart - betrayed the supreme goddess Noctis and stole her power. However, Prague and the other gods were unable to handle her immense strength, resulting in their eventual defeat at the hands of the Adversaries. Though Prague's physical body remains sealed away, the power of Noctis has created an illusion of him, which remains awake in the city.
Story
The Ancient War
In the beginning, the Primordial God made 365 creations - the sun, the moon, the stones, the trees, the wind, the rivers, the seas, and countless others - each adhering to 365 laws that governed the universe. From these 365 creations that made up the world, powerful beings were brought into existence that embodied these natural laws, including Prague. Eventually, the supreme goddess Noctis - unparalleled in her raw power and mastery over illusions - came to rule over all others, creating her sanctuary in the city of Tallahart. She, along with those beneath her, were revered by mortals as gods, and ages later, they would be known as the Ancient Gods. Eventually, the Primordial God - unable to abide the chaos in the universe - created the Overseers to establish order in the universe. To this end, the Overseers tasked the elders of Grandis with creating beings known as the Adversaries in the floating laboratory of Odium. Imbued with the divine power of relics known as the Godspheres, the Adversaries began a war to defeat the Ancient Gods.
This war began with the Adversaries' attack upon the Ancient Gods of Tallahart, the seat of power for the supreme god Noctis. However, Noctis' immense strength allowed her to effortlessly defeat the Adversaries who came to face her, claiming that as pathetic puppets of the Overseers with no emotions or memories, their spears would never reach her. Nevertheless, the other gods of Tallahart began to fear the Overseers, as the creation of the Adversaries directly challenged their faith in their immortality. Two gods of Tallahart - Prague and Edmir - spoke with Noctis about their concerns, to which Noctis asked them whether they were truly so afraid of the Overseers. Prague admitted that he was indeed afraid, as the Overseers had made the immortal gods experience the fear of death for the first time. Edmir agreed and told Noctis that she was certain that the Ancient War would result in their eventual defeat. However, Noctis scoffed and declared that they should know better by now that she would never die, and that anyone who threatened her or her sister, Luce, would not survive. As Noctis walked away, Prague noted disdainfully that Noctis was correct that she would never die as long as she held that kind of power. Edmir then added that they would simply need to take her power for themselves in order to ensure their own survival.
Eventually, Prague and the other gods of Tallahart conspired to steal Noctis' power by taking Luce hostage, forcing Noctis to make an absolute, unbreakable contract that would result in her surrendering her power in exchange for her twin sister's life. With Noctis surrendering herself, the gods chained her alongside Luce as Noctis demanding to know whether they were satisfied at last. She added that she had never expected the jealousy of a god to be so ugly, though Prague snapped at her to stay quiet, claiming that hers was the power that would soon destroy Tallahart. Though Luce urged Noctis not to give in, Noctis assured her that she would not give in, as the gods wanted her power, and that as long as her power persisted, her will would not disappear either. Edmir then ordered Noctis to fulfill the contract by surrendering the last of her power, to which Noctis replied that she needed to make sure that they would hold up their end. Edmir promised Noctis that they would spare Luce's life, though she then added that Luce would never again be allowed to set foot in Tallahart. The gods then began draining Luce's power, causing a furious Noctis to note that they had promised not to touch her. The gods replied that they would indeed spare her life, though they would strip her of her power and banish her from Tallahart, though they added that she would simply fall prey to the power of the Godsphere instead. Enraged, Noctis swore that she would exact her revenge upon the gods for their despicable betrayal. Luce then apologized to her sister for only being a hindrance, though Noctis replied that she was the one who should be sorry. However, she reminded Luce that they were always connected, and that she would save her no matter what happened. Luce then promised tha she would also save her sister no matter what, calling Noctis her treasure. As the gods began to strip Noctis of her power, Noctis vowed that she would curse them in darkness forever. The gods then took Noctis' power for themselves and prepared to start the final war against the Overseers. However, as only Noctis had been able to handle such immense power, the other gods had been swallowed up by darkness and met their ends at the hands of the Adversaries, resulting in their power being sealed away alongside Noctis in Tallahart, with their bodies disappearing to an unknown location.
Phantom of Tallahart
Following the convergence of Maple World and Grandis, the Ancient Gods slowly began reawakening one by one, with the city of Tallahart being restored as a powerful illusion. Alongside Tallahart, the fury of Prague and the other gods manifested as powerful monsters born of their divine strength, which attacked the Adversary as they attempted to enter the city and claim the power of the gods. Following the end of their mission, the Adversary claimed the power of Tallahart's gods from Noctis, including the power of Prague. Following this, a phantom of Prague was created through Noctis' power, which cursed the Adversary for claiming his divine energy and vowed that he would grow stronger and exact his revenge upon them.
