Eleanor, also known as the Black Witch, is an officer of the Black Wings. She was responsible for creating the rift between the Cygnus Knights and the Resistance.

Story

The Black Witch

After the Black Wings took over Edelstein, a Resistance began to form against them. As the Resistance grew stronger, they reached out to the Cygnus Knights in order to launch a joint attack on the Black Wings. The Black Wings soon discovered their plan and Eleanor was ordered to stop them. Knowing that Shinsoo's power prevented any curse from befalling Ereve, Eleanor devised a plan to have a Cygnus Knight bring a cursed object into Ereve for her. She manipulated the Knights into thinking that she was plotting to assassinate Empress Cygnus, which prompted a veteran knight named Dunamis to infiltrate the Verne Mine. Though Dunamis faced Eleanor in battle, he was unable to finish her off, though he managed to take a black scale that she was carrying back to Ereve. Unsatisfied with his failure to capture her, Dunamis returned to Edelstein against Neinheart's counsel, resulting in his capture. Neinheart then sent another Knight to rescue him. During the rescue operation, they learned that the black scale was part of her plan to curse Ereve. Meanwhile, Eleanor's black scale cursed the island and turned all its denizens into stone. Though the Knight and Dunamis fought her off, they soon realized that her true goal had been to stop the Cygnus Knights from reinforcing the Resistance, which had resulted in their utter defeat. Soon after, the Black Wings began intercepting communication between Ereve and Edelstein, making the Resistance believe that the Cygnus Knights had abandoned them without explanation, causing a rift to grow between them.

Eleanor's Room

During the Demon's investigation into the Black Wings founder, he sensed a dark energy emanating from Eleanor's room, though he chose not to investigate. Eleanor owned a pet Cockatrice, which once broke out from its room. Le Tierre, who was afraid of the monster, asked a traveler to catch it for her. After Baroq stole the Seal Stone of Victoria Island, he placed it unguarded in Eleanor's room and left a note for her explaining what he was doing. At Athena Pierce's request, Rondo and the Explorer infiltrated Eleanor's room and recovered the Seal Stone.

Black Heaven

After the Black Wings launched their android army to infiltrate the Lumiere, Athena Pierce and the Adversary fought and defeated Eleanor, who had boarded the ship. The Adversary later faced Eleanor again after infiltrating Black Heaven and managed to defeat her. It is unknown what happened to Eleanor after the events of Black Heaven. It is possible that she was killed after the ship exploded, or that she survived and fled after the Black Wings power base collapsed in the aftermath.
