Cannoneer class selection button

Cannoneer or Cannon Shooter is an Explorer Pirate released during the MapleStory: Legends Update. Their second job is Cannoneer, their third job is Cannon Trooper, and their fourth job is Cannon Master.

While on their way to Victoria Island, an Explorer's ship is attacked by a Jr. Balrog, causing him to crash-land on Coco Island. There, he encounters a Monkey and a man named Cutter, an engineer for the Nautilus designing a secret superweapon for Kyrin. The three band together in order to escape in a large cannon, after which the Explorer is entrusted with the cannon and becomes the Cannoneer, with Monkey at his side.

Due to being a special Explorer, Cannoneer has their own storyline and also follow the regular Explorer storyline.

Story

Once a Beginner hoping to become an Explorer, an unlucky monster attack stranded the Cannoneer on an remote island until a Monkey rescued him and helped him escape. After being rescued by the Nautilus, the Cannoneer - armed with a powerful arm cannon and his Monkey at his side - hopes to master the ways of the pirate and save Maple World from the darkness which threatens it.
