The Unnamed Afrien Fusion is a character that appears the Yum Yum Island storyline.
Story
The Arcane River
Shortly after Alicia scattered her life force across Maple World, the Black Mage began stealing the Erdas of Maple World, which had once flowed through the World Tree under Alicia's protection, and used them to create the Arcane River, composed of Erdas siphoned from the collision of the three worlds.
Yum Yum Island
After the creation of the Arcane River, Kaling traveled to Yum Yum Island and began conducting experiments to fuse together the Erdas of the most powerful creatures in Maple World in order to create an even stronger monster. As part of her experiments, she gathered the Erdas of Afrien, who had died after sacrificing his life to help the Heroes escape from Damien, and fused them together with the Erdas of another unknown being.
While Kaling way away, the Adversary, who had been traveling across the Arcane River, began investigating Yum Yum Island at the behest of Chief Lyon. With the help of Caster, a fusion of Von Bon and a chameleon, the Adversary traveled to the heart of Fungos Forest, where they encountered an enormous flower.
From the flower, the fusion of Afrien emerged and confronted the Adversary, who began wondering whether the monster was a Nova or a dragon of Leafre before recognizing that it had been created from Afrien's Erdas. As they began to fight, the Adversary quickly realized that a portion of Afrien's immense power had carried over into this creation.
As the monster launched a powerful attack, Caster jumped in front of the Adversary and took it in their place. The monster then declared that yet another insignificant being appeared, angering Caster, who was reminded of how his creator had deemed him a failure. With an enraged Caster and the Adversary working together, Afrien was defeated, leaving behind only his button, which all the experiments of Yum Yum Island possessed.
Some time after the Adversary left to continue on their journey, Kaling returned back to Yum Yum Island and discovered that the Afrien fusion had both hatched and been defeated while she had been away. She then decided to wrap up her experiments there and move on to her other plans.

Trivia
- Based on the humanoid appearance of the fusion, as well as the armor color and wing size, it is possible that the monster was a fusion of Afrien and a Nova.
- Several classes receive exclusive dialogue upon meeting the monster:
- Nova classes note that the monster's energy is completely different from that of a regular Nova.
- The Heroes will also recognize the fusion as being made of Afrien's Erdas. Evan will additionally get exclusive dialogue that has Mir greet him as his ancestor. While fighting the monster, the Heroes will claim that it is still nowhere near the power of the real Afrien.
- In the Odium storyline, Kaling reveals that the Afrien fusion, along with all the other monsters that the Adversary encountered, had ultimately been failures.
