Yum Yum Island is an area in the Arcane River near Chu Chu Island. It is the second side area in the Arcane River, and as such does not have its own Arcane Symbol. After loud noises are heard in the forest behind Chu Chu Island, Chief Lyon asks the player for help investigating it. There, the player discovers an island filled with artificial creations created from the Erdas of the most powerful monsters in Maple World. The player must help the Erdas of Yum Yum Island learn about their past and who created them.

This region can be accessed on foot via Back of Skywhale in Chu Chu Island. It is generally divided into three sections: Mushbud Forest, Illiard Field, and Fungos Forest, with each section being unlocked as you progress through the questline. Each section requires a certain amount of Arcane Power to deal normal damage to the monsters here, with Mushbud Forest requiring 130, and Illiard Field and Fungos Forest requiring 160. In addition, each section has a special map with augmented versions of monsters, requiring 190 Arcane Power. The final boss for this area is an unnamed fusion of Afrien.

Completing the questline will reward 20  Arcane Symbol Selector Coupons. In addition, the Chu Chu Island Daily Quest's Arcane Symbol reward will be doubled.

Before the Adversary could continue on their journey, Chief Lyon of Chu Chu Island asked them to investigate a loud noise coming from the nearby Yum Yum Island. There, the Adversary discovered that the people of Yum Yum Island were fusions made from the Erdas of Maple World's most powerful monsters, such as Horntail, Zakum, and the Seal Guardians of Root Abyss. The townspeople wore special blue buttons that symbolized that they had been artificially created by someone, rather than being naturally born through spontaneous fusion of Erda, though the Adversary noted that Chief Lyon had been naturally created with the Erdas of Damien.

While helping the townspeople, the Adversary encountered a powerful fusion created from the Erdas of Afrien. After defeating the creature, the Adversary realized that someone had been hoping to create a powerful creature through experimentation. Though they wanted to warn the Alliance, they decided that it would be better to keep moving forward in order to reach the Black Mage. Soon after, however, the Alliance investigated Yum Yum Island and realized that it was the work of someone entirely new, rather than a Commander of the Black Mage. In order to explore the Arcane River and reinforce the Adversary, Neinheart and Cygnus dispatched a squad under the leadership of Ollie of the Thunder Breakers. Meanwhile, Kaling returned back to Yum Yum Island and discovered that her creatures had been destroyed while she had been away. Nevertheless, she decided to wrap up her experiments and move on to her other plans.
