ARK is an update following Nova. It will introduce a new Pirate Flora race class, Ark, 5th Job Advancement Improvements, Monster Park Expansion, A New Episode in the Grand Athenaeum, and the 6th Region of the Arcane River.

1st: V CARE

• Daily Quests Simplifed!
  • Less time shall be spent devoted to daily quests, while receiving the same rewards.
  • The following dailies have been simplified / reduced:
    • Legion Daily Quests
    • Kritias Daily Quests
    • Scrapyard Daily Quests
    • Dark World Tree Daily Quests
    • Vanishing Journey Daily Quests
    • Hungry Muto
    • Dream Defender
    • Spirit Savior
  • V Matrix Points are now given for every level past 200, and can be used to extend V Matrix slots up to 5 levels past the maximum.
  • Arcane Catalyst is added to allow Arcane Symbols to be traded within the world.
  • Elite Bosses + Pollo & Fritto Portals now grant rewards based on the monsters in your current map.
  • Ark Innocence Scroll is added to allow players to reset their equipment's scrolled stats while keeping the Star Force enhancements.
  • New Vanishing Journey Monster Park dungeon is added.
  • Grand Athenaeum Episode 5: The Shadow Alchemist
    • Learn the tale of Zero Alpha back when he was called "Eight", as well as a friend he forgot in Shadowvale.

2nd: ARK

• New Class: Ark
• A young boy who became a monster, ARK.

3rd: ESFERA

• Arcane River 6th Region: Esfera
• New Boss: Will [Hard Mode]

Trivia

• In KMS, the director of that time was Wonki Kang (2015-2023).
• Beginning with this update, players were required to have equipment with at least 100 Star Force in total, including a 10-star weapon, before they can proceed to the 5th Job Advancement.
  • This requirement was later removed in the Destiny Update.
• A few regional differences came across with this update:
  • In MapleSEA, GlobalMS, JapanMS, ChinaMS and TaiwanMS, ARK came with the following content:
    • New Blockbuster: Monad
  • In GlobalMS, ARK came with the following additional content:
    • System Removal: Nebulites
      • Bonus Stats and Rebirth Flames replaced Nebulites.
    • System Update: Rebirth Flame Stats
    • System Update: Star Force Enhancement to 25 Stars
    • New World: Reboot (Europe)
    • New Event: LAB Event, LAB server
