AWAKE is an update following RISE. This update introduces 4th V skill for all classes, a new episode in Grand Athenaeum and New Arcane River region, Sellas.
1st: Spring Spring Project
- AWAKE Events

- Item Inventory Revamp (More spacing, new "Decorative" tab where Cash Equipments will utilise this space)
- Maple Auction / Legion Improvements.
2nd: Sharenian Knights

- In KMS, the director of that time was Wonki Kang (2015-2023).
- Server Naming Difference:
- GMS: Awake
- KMS: AWAKE (어웨이크, Eoweikeu)
- JMS: AWAKE (アウェイク, Au~eiku)
- MSEA: AWAKE
- CMS: AWAKE (觉醒, Juéxǐng)
- Character creation for Zen was disabled in ChinaMS, TaiwanMS and MapleSEA in this update.
- During the TaiwanMS AWAKE showcase, Mo Xuan was announced as Zen's replacement. All Zen characters would be converted to Mo Xuan in the update.
- As such, Zen did not receive a 4th V skill.
- MapleSEA did not receive Mo Xuan and instead required all Zen characters to be converted into any of the Explorer Pirates during the job transfer period.
- All Zen characters that did not convert would be deleted upon the end of the job transfer period.
- MapleSEA received Mo Xuan in the Assemble Update on January 2026.
- GlobalMS received Mo Xuan during its 20th Anniversary Update before the Stargazer Update.
- During the TaiwanMS AWAKE showcase, Mo Xuan was announced as Zen's replacement. All Zen characters would be converted to Mo Xuan in the update.
- A few regional differences came across with this update:
- In GlobalMS, AWAKE came with the following additional content:
- Job rebalancing changes (KMS v1.2.332)
- In MapleSEA, the rollout of AWAKE was modified as follows:
- 4th V Skills were available upon rollout of the update.
- Union Arena events were available in the 2nd part of the update.
- Grand Athenaeum Episode 6 was available in the 3rd part of the update.
- In ChinaMS and TaiwanMS, AWAKE came with the following additional content:
- New Job: Mo Xuan
- In GlobalMS, AWAKE came with the following additional content:
- During the KoreaMS AWAKE showcase, the director mentioned that Cernium from the Glorion Expedition event in the Glory Update was planned to be added as a new area in a future update.
- The director also mentioned that there were many post-Level 250 content in development.
- The initials of the words Glory, Rise, Awake, NEO, Destiny, Ignition and Savior form Grandis.
