“A massive spider-type monster found on the 10th Floor of the Tower of Oz. It resembles a species that once lived outside the Tower, but our researchers have had trouble confirming that, as its aggressive nature keeps them from getting too close.
If it creates cocoons and produces spiderlings, they can multiply to overwhelming numbers, so it's wise to destroy any cocoons as quickly as possible.
For reference, when it wraps its body in webs, it becomes extremely durable and deflects all attacks. Attacking it carelessly may result in injury instead, so proceed with caution.”

The Giant Spider is the First boss in the Tower of Oz and serves as the boss for Floor 10.

It can at any time cast Damage Reflect, Summon Spiderling Cocoons, which hatch into Spiderlings that the Giant Spider will eat to restore HP.

• The Giant Spider is based on the spider in the bookWonderful Wizard of Oz: Chapter 21, where the spider eats everyone in the forest until the Cowardly Lion kills it.
