Princess No is the final boss of the Hieizan questline.

Battle Overview

Princess No can be fought in Normal mode. You must be in a party of 1 - 6 players in order to fight her, and each player will have a Death Count of 5. If all players reach 0 lives, then the battle will end and the party will be kicked out of the boss fight. The battle has a time limit of 30 minutes, and a Potion Cooldown of 5 seconds is applied.

The following patterns are present in this battle. All attacks deal % HP damage, so they must be manually avoided, as it ignores any avoidability stats, and damage reduction skills (unless the skill is specifically stated to include damage proportional to HP).

• Flamethrower: Princess No charges energy into a red butterfly and releases it, shooting out a flamethrower in front of her for 1.5 seconds. Deals 10% HP damage every 0.25 seconds to any players in front of her, up to 6 hits.
• Water Strike: Princess No charges energy into a blue butterfly and releases it, striking the area in front of her multiple times. Deals 20% HP damage per hit, up to 3 hits.
• Purple Explosions: Princess No charges energy into a purple butterfly and releases it, summoning purple trigrams that appear beneath the player and explode after a short delay. Each trigram deals 40% HP damage, and 3 trigrams will appear in succession. This attack has an 8 second cooldown.
• Teleport Attack: Princess No will teleport to a random player and slam into the ground, dealing 100% HP damage. You can avoid this attack by jumping. This attack has a 15 second cooldown.
• Eight Trigrams: There are 5 of the Eight Trigrams near the top of the map. From the center of the map, the first of the Eight Trigrams is pink and at the 9:00 position, the second is cyan and at the 10:00 position, the third is black and at the 12:00 position, the fourth is cyan and at the 2:00 position, and the fifth is pink and at the 3:00 position. Every 40 seconds, Princess No will attempt to activate one of the Eight Trigrams at random, indicated by platforms appearing below each Trigram and the specific Trigram flashing. The Trigram can be disabled by holding the NPC Chat / Interact / Harvest key on top of it for 3 seconds, and you will have 12 seconds to disable it once Princess No tries to activate it. If you are unable to disable it, Princess No will summon three eels, and a different effect will occur for 120 seconds (including the 12 seconds taken for Princess No to activate it) depending on which Trigram is activated:
  • First (pink, 9:00 position): Renka will appear every 12 seconds to leap and slam her sword into the ground, dealing 50% HP damage and inflicting Weaken for up to 4 seconds, preventing players from jumping.
  • Second (cyan, 10:00 position): Mikagami will appear every 12 seconds on either the bottom left or bottom right corner of the map to fire a fast-moving projectile towards you, dealing 50% HP damage and inflicting Stun for up to 3 seconds, preventing players from moving.
  • Third (black, 12:00 position): Allows Princess No to use Sakura Shower, during which Princess No will cast a full-map attack where cherry blossom petals rain all over the map, dealing 200% HP damage. While using this attack, Princess No will only take 1 damage. This attack has a 60 second cooldown. Therefore, it is important to disable the third Trigram as soon as possible.
  • Fourth (cyan, 2:00 position): Oura Shogun will appear every 12 seconds to slam his spear into the ground, dealing 70% HP damage.
  • Fifth (pink, 3:00 position): Miroku will appear every 12 seconds and swing his staff to cast a spell towards you, dealing 20% HP damage and inflicting Stun for up to 4 seconds, preventing players from moving.
• Forced Trigram Activation: When Princess No's HP is reduced to 70%, 50%, and 30%, a random Trigram (excluding the third / black Trigram) will forcibly activate. The Trigrams will only be active for 60 seconds when this occurs.
