Kai the Time Traveler is a Seasonal Boss as part of Challenger World Season 3.

Kai also returned in Challenger World Season 4 with nerfed stats and limited to Normal mode. Access is restricted to completing Item Burning and Challenger World missions only, and does not offer any additional rewards unlike in Season 3.

Battle Overview

Kai can be fought in Normal and Hard mode. You must be in a solo party to fight him, and you will have a Death Count of 5. If you reach a Death Count of 0, the battle will end and you will be kicked out of the map. The battle has a time limit of 20 minutes, and a Potion Cooldown of 10 seconds is applied. All attacks deal % HP damage, so they must be manually avoided as they ignore any evasion stats and damage reduction skills (unless the skill is specifically stated to include damage proportional to HP).

The battle consists of two phases which occur in a single map. Once Kai's HP reaches 50%, Phase 2 will begin immediately.
