Surgeon Eyes are one of the more well-known ingredients on Victoria Island. Their appearance may be off-putting, but they are said to have a rich, nutty flavor. Their texture, in particular, is highly praised.
If you have no prejudice against unusual ingredients, it might be worth closing your eyes and giving them a try. There are even rumors that Surgeon Eyes are the secret ingredient in Moon Bunny's Rice Cakes, filling in whatever something seems to be missing.”
