The Far East is a World Tour continent based on East China. It consists of three areas based on real-life locations in China: Shanghai, Mount Song, and Shaolin Temple.
In ChinaMS, GlobalMS, and MapleSEA, this region can be accessed via Shanghai Interdimensional Portal at Six Path Crossway.

Towns / Regions
Shanghai
- Main article: Shanghai
Shanghai is based on the city in China of the same name. The beautiful night city of Shanghai, once bustling with noise and excitement, found itself under dark clouds one day, with everlasting night. While this led to increased tourism, strange occurrences started to happen shortly after: objects started to move on their own, the nearby farm animals started going berserk, and jiangshi started to appear. It is up to you to help the city return to a sense of normalcy.
Mount Song

Mount Song is based on the isolated mountain range in Henan Province, China of the same name. It consists of a mountain range below Shaolin Temple, with various thieves and swordsmen that roam around and attack passersby.
Shaolin Temple
- Main article: Shaolin Temple
Shaolin Temple is based on the monastic institution in Henan Province, China of the same name. It is a monastery where various monks study and practice martial arts. However, demonic creatures have started appearing throughout the Shaolin Area, and Elder Jung of Mount Song requests that you help the Wise Chief Priest investigate the demons that have taken up residence inside the Sutra Depository.

- This region was initially released in ChinaMS on November 4, 2015 with v129 update.
- The GMS name for this region, The Far East, is a misnomer since the Far East in real life is used to account for multiple countries aside from China, such as Russia, Japan, Mongolia, North and South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
