Mount Song is an area in The Far East based on the isolated mountain range in Henan Province, China of the same name. It consists of a mountain range below Shaolin Temple, with various thieves and swordsmen that roam around and attack passersby.

This region can be accessed on foot from Shanghai's Mount Song Pathway in the Outskirts of Shanghai. In JapanMS, this region can also be accessed via the World Tour NPC Spinel. It is divided into 2 sections: Mount Song - Shaolin Area and Forest of Tranquility. Shaolin Temple is accessible from Temple Plaza in Mount Song - Shaolin Area.

Shaolin Temple's questline involves traveling here for a few quests. After completing the Shaolin Temple questline, you will unlock quests from Zarak which require you to gather Demon Orbs from the monsters throughout Mount Song and Shaolin Temple and grant  Zarak's Boxes as rewards. These boxes can reward items such as  Spell Traces, Epic Potential Scroll 50%, and Hunter's Luck.

Trivia

• The original version of both Mount Song and Shaolin Temple were available as ChinaMS's secondary World Tour region. However, it was not connected to Shanghai Wai-Tan, and could only be accessed via Spinel. These two areas were also available in JapanMS and TaiwanMS, but in alternate forms.
  • The original ChinaMS variation of Mount Song had monsters Level 80 - 105, with higher HP than most other monsters in their level range.
  • The JapanMS variation of Mount Song had monsters Level 40 - 70, with the mobs having much higher movement speed and the Wooden Fish being present in Shaolin Temple instead of Mount Song.
  • The TaiwanMS variation of Mount Song had monsters Level 30 - 45.
