Combat Power is a value shown in the user's Character Info UI which can be used to compare the power with other characters, and represents the character's overall growth, excluding factors that differ depending on the character's job.

Calculation

A character's Combat Power is calculated using a character's Main Stats, Secondary Stats, Attack Power/Magic ATT, Damage, Boss Damage, Final Damage, and Critical Damage. Additional adjustments are made to Attack Power/Magic ATT depending on the type of weapon equipped. The weapon's Bonus Stats and Star Force Enhancement values are also adjusted according to these changes, unless the Miraculous Equip Scroll was used. For Demon Avenger and Xenon, whose main stat calculations are different from normal jobs, the Combat Power is multiplied by an additional constant. For Zero, the basic stats of the secondary weapon and some bonus stats are excluded from Combat Power calculation. For jobs that can use different types of weapons, listed in their Weapon Mastery skills, a ratio of the current Weapon Constant compared to the weapon with the highest Constant is used.

Mathematically, Combat Power is the product of these terms, rounded down:[1]

  • 0.01
  • Current Weapon Constant / highest possible Weapon Constant
  • Unknown value for Demon Avenger and Xenon
  • 4 (Main Stat 1 + Main Stat 2 + Main Stat 3) + Secondary Stat 1 + Secondary Stat 2
  • 1 + Damage + Boss Damage
  • (1 + Final Damage) / ((1 + Final Damage from Skill 1) (1 + Final Damage from Skill 2) * ...)
  • 1.35 + Critical Damage

  • floor((Attack Power + floor("bow" Base ATT / weapon Base ATT - 1) * (weapon Base ATT + weapon Star Force ATT)) * (1 + % ATT))
or
  • Attack Power - weapon's total ATT + ATT of the corresponding "bow" with equivalent enhancements[2]

Magicians use Magic ATT and % Magic ATT instead. Except for Final Damage, any boosts from skills and consumable items must be subtracted from each term. (1 + Final Damage from Skill) is divided from the Final Damage Multiplier for each skill that contributes to it.

"Bow"

Combat Power is easiest to calculate on jobs that use a weapon with the same Base ATT scaling as a Bow: Bow Master, Pathfinder, Shadower, Dual Blade, Wind Archer, Mercedes, Kain, Cadena, Khali, and Hoyoung. For other jobs, their weapon's prefix can be used to determine "bow" Base ATT (Destiny: 349, Genesis: 318, Arcane: 276, Absolab: 192, ...). As a result, Magicians would convert their weapon's Magic ATT into the equivalent bow's ATT, disregarding the weapon's Base ATT.

Growth Elements

Combat Power includes in its calculation:

Combat Power does not include:

  • Ignore Defense
  • Ignore Elemental Resistance
  • Level Advantage Multiplier
  • Map Multiplier
  • Stat increase from skills, including Link Skills and Guild Skills
  • Stat increase by consumable items

Minimum Combat Power Entry Limit

Screenshot of Minimum Combat Power Requirements for each party members

As of the NEXT Update in ChinaMS, players are required to have sufficient Combat Power to enter a Major Boss's map. When entering a Boss as a party, every party member must have sufficient Combat Power before entering, and the sum of all party member's Combat Power must not be lower than minimum Combat Power. This does not prevent you from entering Practice Mode.

For example, Hard Limbo requires 1,500,000,000 Combat Power in total, and when entering with 3 players, the minimum Combat Power of each party members cannot be lower than 320,000,000, and the sum of Combat Power from all party members cannot be lower than 1,500,000,000. If Member 1 has 350,000,000 Combat Power, and Member 2 has 550,000,000 Combat Power, then Member 3 must have at least 600,000,000 Combat Power before entering.

The following table only applies to entering each boss solo. For the minimum Combat Power required for every party member, please see the respective boss's page.
