World Archive

A giant tree that rises at the center of Victoria Island. Tainted with dark magic, its leaves have dried up, and its branches are grotesquely deformed.

Dark World Tree is an area in Victoria Island near Sleepywood, where Damien's former (and current) soldiers reside. After Damien's defeat by the hands of the Heroes, Alchetto, the senior officer of the Demon army, ordered his forces to retreat and go back to Tynerum. However, hordes of demons, corrupted by the Spirit of Vengeance, are still prowling around, and you can help Alchetto to decrease their numbers.

This region can be accessed on foot via Humid Swamp near Sleepywood. It is divided into four sections: Lower Stem, Winding Stem, Climbing Stem, and Upper Stem. The monsters here consist of corrupted tree saps, imps, and Demon soldiers. The Major Boss Damien can be fought here.

All Dark World Tree monsters (excluding Flying / Anti-AFK monsters) will drop  Faint Stigma Spirit Stones at a low chance. Completing the single quest [Dark World Tree] Those Who Remained will unlock Weekly Quests which reward 20 Faint Stigma Spirit Stones per week.

Defeating Damien allows players to obtain the following:

•  Twisted Stigma Spirit Stone, which can be exchanged alongside  Faint Stigma Spirit Stone at a 1:20 ratio for  Stigma Coins by talking to Quartermaster Sakaro in Deserted Camp, which are subsequently used to purchase Level 160 AbsoLab Weapons, Gloves, Boots, and Capes from Supplier Salio (Normal and Hard mode)
•  AbsoLab Weapon Box, which allows players to obtain a Level 160 AbsoLab Weapon of one's choice (Hard mode only)
•  AbsoLab Armor Box, which allows players to obtain a Level 160 AbsoLab Hat, Overall, Shoulder, Shoe, Glove, or Cape of one's choice (Hard mode only)
• The Demon Aegis  Ruin Force Shield (Normal and Hard mode)
• The Eye Accessory  Magic Eyepatch, which is part of the Pitched Boss Set (Hard mode only)
