Once the seat of a prosperous society, the entire settlement fell into an unnaturally long slumber after falling under the Black Mage's curse. It is only recently that they have once again rejoined the world.
Elluel is an area in Victoria Island near Ellinia, and is the town of elves. Located in a colorful woodland forest, it is also the hometown of the queen of the elves Mercedes, the Explorer Bowman job instructor and leader of the Explorer Guild Athena Pierce, and the Dream Master Lucid. As a result of the Black Mage's curse, most of the elves were frozen alongside Mercedes, and remain asleep. Mercedes characters start here upon creation, with their introductory questline centered around Elluel.
This region can be accessed on foot via Close to the Sky near Ellinia, which leads to Elluel's Flowery Forest. It is surrounded by the Elven Training Grounds to the east, where young elves could train on dummies, and the Flowery Forest to the west past the caves.
After completing the Aftermath / Day After quest at the end of Limina's questline, all of the elf NPCs in town will awaken from the curse and be unfrozen. In addition, completing the Convergence / Borderless questline will allow players to enter Lucid's Room, where Lucid remains asleep.
