Fame

Fame is a stat used to showcase a player's popularity. Players can increase or decrease the Fame of another player, commonly referred to as Faming and Defaming, and are limited to using this once per day (once per month with a specific player). While Fame does not serve a functional purpose aside from showing off to other players, certain Medals, namely Celebrity and Maple Idol, can be obtained by raising your Fame a specific amount. In addition, players will receive 1 Charm point for every point of Fame acquired.

When a player increases the Fame of a player who is sitting on a Level Milestone Chair, they will receive a buff granting Weapon and Magic Attack for 30 minutes, with a varying amount depending on the Chair as follows:

• Throne of Masters (Level 250):
  • Weapon Attack +40 & Magic Attack +40 for 30 minutes
• Symbol of Brilliant Honor (Level 275):
  • Weapon Attack +50 & Magic Attack +50 for 30 minutes
• Symbol of Magnificent Honor (Level 300):
  • Weapon Attack +60 & Magic Attack +60 for 30 minutes
