Sharenian Culvert is a weekly activity that Guild members can take part in to increase the guild's Noblesse Skill Points. The aim of the activity is to face off with Arcanus, a demon that spawned in the ruins of the lost kingdom of Sharenian, and deal as much damage to it as possible. The boss will spawn in 6 forms, each with higher HP than the previous. Members of guilds over Level 101, with at least 1,000 Hunting Points or 40 Boss Points can participate. Players can talk to Daedal via the Guild UI or in Guild Base <Hall of Heroes> to be sent to the Culvert Entrance.

The Sharenian Culvert score is determined based on the damage dealt to the boss. The Guild Score reflects the character's best record for the week, and resets weekly on Thursday.

Details

Players can talk to Daedal in the Culvert Entrance to enter the Sharenian Culvert. Upon entering Sharenian Culvert, buffs that are not from Use or Cash items will be reset, and you will be sent to the Path to the Altar, where you will be given 2 minutes to prepare your buffs. Note that Noblesse Guild Skills, Collector's buffs, Chair Buffs, and wedding buffs cannot be used inside Sharenian Culvert. Once you begin, you will have 2 minutes to deal as much damage to Arcanus as possible. Arcanus is a Boss Monster with 50% Elemental Resistance. Arcanus's stats and points across all his stages are as follows:

Stage HP Defense HP per Point Stage Points Cumulative Points
1 6,000,000,000 (6 billion) 50% 600,000,000 (600 million) 10 10
2 15,000,000,000 (15 billion) 100% 750,000,000 (750 million) 20 30
3 150,000,000,000 (150 billion) 150% 1,500,000,000 (1.5 billion) 100 130
4 1,500,000,000,000 (1.5 trillion) 200% 3,000,000,000 (3 billion) 500 630
5 10,500,000,000,000 (10.5 trillion) 250% 3,000,000,000 (3 billion) 3,500 4,130
6 900,000,000,000,000 (900 trillion) 300% 3,000,000,000 (3 billion) 300,000 304,130
7 2,700,000,000,000,000 (2.7 quadrillion) 380% 10,000,000,000 (10 billion) 270,000 574,130

Once the 2-minute timer runs out, you will be sent to Path from the Altar, where you can talk to Daedal to retry (with your buffs kept intact) or return to the Culvert Entrance. If you retry on the same character, only the highest score will count towards the Ranking.

Noblesse Guild Points

Noblesse Skill Points are assigned based on the total Guild Score, the sum of all weekly scores for all guild members. These Skill Points can be used for Noblesse Guild Skills. If your Guild does not earn at least 500 Ranking Points, no Skill Points will be rewarded, even if your Guild places in the rankings.

Trivia

  • Previously, Sharenian Culvert was a Level 101+ dungeon released in the RISE Update. It served as a successor to Sharenian Ruins in that it allowed an entire Guild to collaborate through multiple stages and reach the final boss Arcanus. A Guild Leader or Junior could coordinate with their Guild and talk to Daedal to open the door to Sharenian Culvert once a week (but not between 11:00 PM Sunday and 1:00 AM Monday UTC due to ranking calculations), with the door remaining open for 5 minutes for any Guild members to enter. Within the Waterway Entrance were 12 doors that could be entered by up to 3 parties each, with each party being split into separate maps to navigate through. Each map would summon 3 waves of monsters which could only take a certain percentage of its HP at a time per player, becoming briefly invincible to attacks from that particular player before being able to take damage again; a mob's normal-sized counterpart could take 25% HP per player and became invincible for 3 seconds, while the giant-sized counterpart could take 15% HP per player and became invincible for 5 seconds.
    • The exceptions to this were the Sticky Lump and Small Altar, which spawned in some maps and summoned 5 of a particular normal-sized mob upon defeat.
Once all parties reached the Deep Waterway in the heart of the maze, players could click on the Old Altar to summon Arcanus, who spawned in 5 Stages along with minions that could be killed for additional points. Party buffs would be shared among all players in the map, even across different parties. Noblesse SP would be granted based on your Guild's total score, including the damage dealt to Arcanus and his minions. Arcanus's HP and DEF were as follows:
Stage HP Defense
1 648,000,000,000 (648 billion) 10%
2 1,620,000,000,000 (1.62 trillion) 20%
3 162,000,000,000,000 (162 trillion) 30%
4 1,134,000,000,000,000 (1.134 quadrillion) 40%
5 999,999,999,999,999,999 (1 quintillion - 1) 50%
  • As of the Maple Live / ON AIR Update, this version of Sharenian Culvert was replaced with the current version.
