Maple Value Points System, more commonly known as MVP System, is a system designed to incentivize Cash Shop spending using real money by providing various exclusive items as well as quality of life perks.

The MVP System is revamped in the NEXT / Post-Stargazer Update, with the removal of permanent MVP Bronze ranks (replaced with one non-permanent MVP Bronze rank) as well as a new Black rank. The reorganization also provides various additional quality of life perks and item rewards.

In all servers other than KoreaMS and GlobalMS, the MVP System is replaced with an overseas exclusive VIP System, offering various additional quality of life perks and item rewards similar to the reorganized MVP System.

MVP Rank

MVP revamped UI

MVP ranks are based on amount of NX spent in the past 3 months and can go up and down depending on the spending. The player can check their MVP rank in the Cash Shop as well as MVP UI, including details on required spending to reach the next rank.

MVP ranks require the following spending in the past 3 months:

In KoreaMS, beginning in the Crown Update, the calculation is based on past 13 weeks instead.

MVP Perks and Rewards

The perks and rewards are split into Constant Perks, Weekly and Monthly Perks. as well as Express Pass Perks. All rewards are accessible via the MVP UI.

Constant Perks

Depending on the MVP rank, players can enjoy the following constant perks:

Weekly and Monthly Perks

Depending on the MVP rank, players can enjoy the following weekly and monthly perks.

The following details apply:

  • All items received weekly have a 30-day duration, while all items received monthly expire at the end of the month at 11:59 PM.
  • MVP Bonus EXP Coupons (both 50% and 70%) are tradable in Interactive Worlds.
  • All other weekly items and Sol Erda are transferable within the same world in Interactive Worlds.
  • All other monthly items and MVP 70% Bonus EXP Atmospheric Effect are untradable in Interactive Worlds.
  • All items, no matter weekly or monthly, are untradable in Heroic Worlds.
  • MVP Unlimited Elixir, MVP Basic Damage Skin (Unit), MVP Title, MVP Medal, MVP Chair, and MVP Label and Chat Rings can be reissued per character.

In KoreaMS, beginning in the Crown Update, the MVP Unlimited Elixir, Basic Damage Skin, Title, Medal, Chair, and Label/Chat Rings are also no longer deleted if MVP rank is maintained. In addition, all monthly items and perks are changed to weekly, with most items expiring on Thursday 12:00 AM server time. For MVP Resort use, unused time will not be reset and will be accumulated up to a maximum of 90 hours. For Faint Sol Erda Energy, the items have a 30-day duration.

In all MVP ranks, players can enter the MVP Resort, where any Level 101+ or Zero characters who have completed Chapter 2 can obtain experience based on their level. The experience rate obtained is the same as Luxe Sauna scaling up to Level 294, hence Level 295+ characters will receive the same experience as Level 294.

MVP Resort usage time is shared between all characters within the Maple ID, and resets at 12:00 AM on the 1st day of the month. Usage time does not carry over, hence it is recommended that the player uses up all remaining time by the end of the month.

Historical

MVP UI

Before the revamp, MVP Bronze ranks were on cumulative amount of NX spent on the player account's lifetime from the introduction of this MVP System. Once the rank has been achieved, the rank remained and did not go down. The other ranks were similar to the post-revamp MVP System named as MVP Special ranks, except for the addition of MVP Black in the revamped system.

MVP Bronze

MVP Bronze ranks require the following lifetime spending:

MVP Perks

In all MVP Special ranks, players can enjoy the following perks and rewards:

  • Gift Packs
  • Star Force Enhancement cost discount, with discounts given to enhancements for 1 to 15 stars, excluding Superior items
    • MVP Silver: 3% discount
    • MVP Gold: 5% discount
    • MVP Diamond and Red: 10% discount
  • Auction House perks
    • Additional 20 slots available for selling and buying items
    • Sales fee reduced to 3%
    • Items on sale are registered for 48 hours

Gift Pack

In all MVP ranks, players can receive three Gift Packs per month:

  • 1st Gift Pack: 1st through the 10th of the month
  • 2nd Gift Pack: 11th through the 20th of the month
  • 3rd Gift Pack: 21st through the end of the month

If the player achieves a new rank, the player can receive a supplementary Gift Pack containing items based on the new MVP rank, excluding any received items.

Monthly Gift Pack

In all MVP ranks, players can also receive a monthly gift pack to one character per account. The gifts can be received via the Monthly Pack button on the MVP UI via the Cash Shop. All Monthly Gift Packs, except for MVP Bronze gifts, expire at 12:00 AM UTC on the 1st of the following month.

Trivia

  • KoreaMS has previously tested a new MVP rank in 2020, also called MVP Black, which also cost 3,000,000 NX spent in the past 3 months. This was proven to be unpopular among players, and was removed at that time.
    • The rank provided additional items and perks, including exclusive MVP channels. Even with the revamped MVP, the exclusive channels did not return.
    • Interestingly, many of the perks announced then were implemented in the overseas exclusive VIP System, including exclusive channels.
  • Before the implementation of the VIP System, the minimum Cash spending required for MVP Diamond and Red ranks were higher in MapleSEA compared to other servers:
    • MVP Diamond: 1,000,000 Cash, instead of 900,000 Cash
    • MVP Red: 1,700,000 Cash, instead of 1,500,000 Cash
