Wedding System

Vivian and Pila Present

The Wedding System is a feature allowing player couples to get married in-game. There are several variations of the Wedding System across different servers, all of which allow players to host a wedding with their partner and allow guests to attend. In GMS, players who are married can participate in the Amorian Challenge Party Quest, which has a chance to reward  Onyx Apples, which grant Weapon Attack and Magic Attack: +100 for 10 minutes.

Note that Zero characters, as well as characters of the same sex, cannot get married.

Marriage

A player who wishes to get married to their partner will need to purchase a House Wedding Ticket from the Cash Shop in order to propose. In GlobalMS, the House Wedding Ticket is 5,000 NX in Interactive / Non-Reboot Worlds, or 86,000,000 Mesos in Heroic / Reboot Worlds; in both types of worlds, players can also purchase the ticket for 5,000 Reward Points. With the ticket in hand, the player will need to form a Party with their partner and travel to New Wedding Hall by talking to Nana K in most major towns. The couple will then enter the Wedding Hall of their choice (House, Vegas, Japan, or China) and double-click the ticket to initiate the ceremony.

Up to 6 guests may attend a wedding, but no one is allowed to exit until the ceremony is over. A wedding arch will appear over the couple, which guests will need to click in order to attend. Once the wedding is complete, the bride and groom will receive an Eternal Wedding Ring granting STR, DEX, INT, and LUK +7.

Once 100 days have passed after the wedding, the couple will receive a quest from Vivian under the white lightbulb titled "[Wedding] Wedding Commemoration - 100th Day". Vivian will ask you to obtain a Commitment of Love from the Cash Shop for 4,000 NX (regardless of world). Players will receive a Wedding Commemoration Ring as a reward. The quest is based on the number of days the couple has been married, and can be done up to 10 times (1,000 days) requiring a Commitment of Love each time, with each completion upgrading the ring's stats further.

A player who wishes to get married to their partner will need to purchase a House Wedding Ticket from the Cash Shop for 12,000 NX or 12,000 Mileage / Reward Points in order to propose. With the ticket in hand, the player will need to travel to New Wedding Hall and double-click the ticket. A UI window will open up prompting the player to propose by typing the name of the person they wish to marry, who must also be in New Wedding Hall. If the proposal is accepted, a special chat UI will open above the couple which will initiate the ceremony. Up to 6 guests may attend a wedding, but no one is allowed to exit until the ceremony is over. A wedding arch will appear over the couple, which guests will need to click in order to attend. Once the wedding is complete, the bride and groom will receive an Eternal Wedding Ring granting STR, DEX, INT, and LUK +5.

A player (Partner A) who wishes to get married to their partner (Partner B) will need to purchase a Maple Wedding Ticket from the Cash Shop for 15,000 Cash in order to propose. With the ticket in hand, Partner A will need to travel to New Wedding Hall and double-click the ticket. A UI window will open up prompting Partner A to propose by typing the name of the person they wish to marry (Partner B). If the proposal is accepted, the couple will be prompted to travel to New Wedding Hall to prepare for the ceremony, and they will have 21 days to finalize the wedding.

Decorating the Wedding Hall

The partner who sent the wedding proposal (Partner A) can talk to Anne in New Wedding Hall to decorate the Wedding Hall. Various customization options are available, and one option can be selected from each category:

• Moderator: Officiant, Moderator, Monk
• Background: Modern Wedding Hall, Ornate Palace, Traditional Temple
• Lighting: Chandelier, Fusion Chandelier, Traditional Lantern
• Altar Side: Flower Pillar, Dragon Pillar, Candle Pillar

Additionally, Wall Decor and Entrance Decor options can be purchased for 1,000 Maple Points each. Otherwise, they will be left blank.

• Wall Decor: White Flower Vine, Colorful Flowers and Ribbons, Dainty Cherry Blossom Decoration
• Entrance Decor: Fan Club and Bodyguards, Wedding Guard, Sleeping Cats

Partner A can press Save to save the current layout and return another time. Once the partner is satisfied with their customization options, they can press Complete to finalize their selections; afterward, the layout can no longer be changed.

Inviting Guests

Partner A can talk to Anne to invite guests to the wedding by entering a character's name. Up to 8 guests may be invited to the wedding for free, and 8 additional guests may be invited for 1,000 Maple Points each (for a total of 16 guests). Additionally, Partner A can also register guests from a list of NPCs, or click Away to keep the guest slot empty. Partner A can also choose to provide up to 99 Cubes as gifts to the guests, from the following:

• Regular Cube Coupon [2,100 Maple Points]
• Choice Cube Coupon [3,500 Maple Points]
• Regular Additional Cube Coupon [4,000 Maple Points]

Once the guest list and gifts are selected, press Send to invite the guests, who will receive invitations. Any guest that is unable to attend can send a congratulatory message instead.

Wedding Ceremony and Honeymoon

When the preparations are complete, Partner A can talk to Anne to begin the ceremony, notifying all invited guests to attend. During the ceremony, no one is allowed to exit until it is over. The bride and groom can choose to change the BGM from one of 3 options. Once the bride and groom are ready, they can click Receive Wedding Rings, which will grant both of them the Decoration Ring  Eternal Vow Ring granting STR, DEX, INT, & LUK +10, Max HP & Max MP +1,000, and Weapon & Magic Attack +1; the ring will have the names of the couple engraved on it. Afterward, they can click Pronounce to finalize the wedding. The couple will also receive the Skill Jump of Love, allowing each partner to summon the other to their location with a 600 second cooldown. All guests who attended the wedding will receive the Wedding Cake Slice buff at the end of the wedding, granting EXP Obtained +50% for 30 minutes which stacks with other buffs.

For 7 days after the wedding, the couple can talk to Mystery to travel to Honeymoon Resort, where the couple can enjoy a beach side resort and purchase refreshments from the stocked Refrigerator for 1 Meso each. Note that the Honeymoon Resort can only be visited once, after which it cannot be visited again.

Divorce

A player who wishes to file for divorce from their partner can talk to Pila Present at New Wedding Hall, who will ask the player to wait 1 hour to have it finalized. Players who finalize their divorce can no longer participate in the Wedding Commemoration quests or in the Amorian Challenge Party Quest.

A player who wishes to file for divorce from their partner can talk to Pila Present at New Wedding Hall if they were married prior to the 2024/2025 Wedding System revamp, or Anne if they were married after the Wedding System revamp. Players who were recently married will have to wait 1 hour to finalize their divorce. Players who finalize their divorce will no longer be able to use the Jump of Love Skill. The Eternal Vow Ring will not be removed after divorce, but the engraving will be removed.

Trivia

• Previously, the Wedding System also used to grant the Wedding Bouquet / Special Wedding Bouquet buffs, granting +30 / +60 to both Weapon and Magic Attack. The buff was removed with the Wedding System revamp in MapleSEA, ChinaMS, TaiwanMS, and JapanMS, whereas in KMS and GMS the buff was removed as of the Crown Update.
