The Remote Forest is a forest somewhere in Maple World that is mostly uninhabited except for Mihile and Atan, a man pretending to be Mihile's father and sheltering him from the outside world after losing his real son. Atan tells Mihile to stay close to home where it's safe and keep training hard in the hopes that Mihile will awaken as the Knight of Light and use the Seal Stone (Shinsoo's Teardrop) within the Soul Shield to bring his dead "brother" back to life. Eventually, Neinheart and Cygnus come across the Remote Forest while searching for the Knight of Light, and convince Mihile to travel with them to Ereve to awaken his powers. Mihile characters start here upon creation, with their introductory questline centered around the Remote Forest.

This region can only be accessed during Mihile's tutorial, and can no longer be accessed upon completing the quest To Ereve, the Sky Island. It consists of a few maps with monsters which can be registered in the Monster Collection.

Trivia

• Despite its location being categorized under Victoria Island in Monster Collection, the location of the Remote Forest is kept intentionally vague during the story, and is most likely not a part of Victoria Island.
