Monster Park map

Monster Park is an area hosted by Spiegelmann that consists of various dungeons catered to certain level ranges. It is accessible via the Monster Park Shuttle in certain towns, as well as via the Maple Guide and the Maple Planner. Formerly a party play zone, it is now solo-only.

The dungeons in Monster Park consist of 6 stages each, and a player must defeat all the monsters in each stage to progress to the next. The 6th stage will contain the boss, and certain dungeons will also contain several weaker bosses in earlier stages.

Completing the dungeon by exiting via the final portal will reward a certain amount of EXP, increased by 50% on Sundays (server time); certain Sunny Sundays and events will increase this EXP even further. Players will also receive 20 Monster Park Commemorative Coins for the first Monster Park clear of the day, as well as a box containing rewards based on the day of the week. The boxes given are as follows; each one gives 15 - 30 Monster Park Commemorative Coins and a gift based on the type of box:

You can clear Monster Park 2 times per world for free, and a total of 14 altogether with special coupons, Express Passes, or Maple Points (exception being specific events that allow for 14 free clears a day, as well as events that allow for more than 14 clears). You can only clear 7 times per day on a single character. Exiting in the middle of a Monster Park run will not deduct from the daily clear limit. Note that buffs that increase monster EXP do not apply to Monster Park dungeons.

There will be 4 gates open to the public, with the first 3 Gates used for these dungeons. The first gate's Beginner Dungeons serve players Level 105 - 199, the second gate's Intermediate Dungeons serve players Level 200 and above, and the third gate's Advanced Dungeons serve players Level 260 and above. The dungeons in the first gate can only be entered if you are within the level range to enter that gate; for example, a Level 190 player can enter any of the Beginner Dungeons in the first gate, from Auto Security Area (105 - 114) to Knight Stronghold (190 - 199). There are certain events that grant exceptions to this rule, such as Breakthrough. The dungeons are listed below, with the EXP given for completing them on any day except Sunday. Monster Park Extreme

Extreme Bigfoot

For players Level 260 and above, Monster Park Extreme is also available via the fourth gate all the way to the right. Instead of clearing 6 stages of monsters, the goal is to hunt monsters to summon and eliminate Extreme Bigfoot. Unlike regular Monster Park dungeons, Monster Park Extreme can be done in a party of 1 - 4 players, and has a clear limit of once per world which is separate from regular Monster Park Dungeons. Monster Park Extreme will grant EXP based on your character's level (which will also be increased by 50% on Sundays, and even further during certain Sunny Sundays and special events), and a Monster Park day-of-the-week box.

Trivia

  • Prior to the Heroes of Maple Update's Monster Park REBORN, Monster Park upon its release in the Jump! / Ascension Update was a party dungeon available for Level 20+ players that required special tickets to enter: Zebra Stripe Ticket, Leopard Spot Ticket, and Tiger Stripe Ticket. These tickets could be obtained by exchanging 10 ticket pieces dropped by monsters in the respective level range via the NPC Mary, or paying 50,000 / 100,000 / 200,000 Mesos. Players could form a party of 1 - 6, with each monster granting 50% bonus EXP per additional party member (affected by EXP multipliers). Monsters inside each dungeon would drop potions, Trait Boost consumables, Monster Park Commemorative Coins, Equipment with Rare Potential, and Old Envelopes; the final boss of each dungeon could also drop Mineral and Herb Pouches that granted a random amount of ores / herbs.
    • Within the Old Envelopes were additional coins, consumables, and three pictures featuring Spiegelmann hanging out with Von Leon, sitting atop Horntail's head, and carving Zakum. When the player presented these pictures to Spiegelmann, he would give you coins in exchange for your silence.
  • Following the Justice / Renegades Update, the HP and EXP of each monster was decreased, while the number of monsters in each stage was increased. Additionally, the mini-boss Keynoceros would occasionally spawn during one of the stages in your run, and defeating it would let you enter the Bonus Stage: Hidden Treasure Vault upon clearing that dungeon. In the bonus stage, The Spiegular would repeatedly spawn in a random spot, and you would have one minute to defeat him as many times as possible. Each time he was defeated, he would drop a Box of Greed, which could reward the following:
This bonus stage was removed with Monster Park REBORN.
