Coco Island is a remote island somewhere in Maple World that is mostly uninhabited. Cannoneer characters start here after taking Skipper's ship from Maple Island to Victoria Island, since the main ship to Victoria Island is full. While on Skipper's ship, a Jr. Balrog raided the ship and attacked the player, knocking the player far into the water. The player wakes up on Coco Island and is greeted by a monkey that saved them from drowning. Soon, the player meets Cutter, a Pirate and weapon designer from the Nautilus who ended up shipwrecked on the island while designing a new weapon. Cutter develops a massive cannon for himself and the player to use to escape the island, with the monkey secretly stowing away with them. Soon afterwards, the player wakes up on the Nautilus next to Cutter and the monkey, with the monkey becoming the player's new companion. After talking to Captain Kyrin at Cutter's recommendation, the player becomes a new Explorer Pirate specializing in Hand Cannons as a weapon.

This region can only be accessed during Cannoneer's tutorial, and can no longer be accessed upon completing the quest [Explorer] The Great Escape!. It consists of a few maps with Starfish, which are not necessary for the questline but can be registered in the Monster Collection.

Trivia

• Despite its location being categorized under Victoria Island in Monster Collection, the location of Coco Island is kept intentionally vague during the story, and is most likely not a part of Victoria Island.
