Cooking with Tangyoon is a Party Quest located in Victoria Island's Nautilus region. This Party Quest can be started by talking to Tangyoon in Tangyoon's Kitchen; it can be accessed by talking to Tangyoon in Tangyoon's Kitchen in Spiegelmann's Guest House within the Dimensional Mirror, as well as by talking to Tangyoon in Cafeteria.

The objective of Cooking with Tangyoon is to help Tangyoon cook a dish. Each dish has a different set of required ingredients, and dishes are randomly chosen at the start of the Party Quest.

Stages

Stage 1 - 5

Tangyoon's Cauldron

Cooking with Tangyoon consists of multiple stages, all within the same map. Upon entry, you will be assigned a recipe and given a choice of 5 different monsters to use as ingredients for the dish. Each time you select an ingredient, that monster will continuously spawn for about 90 seconds, regardless of whether it's correct or not. You can choose to hunt the monsters continuously or wait just before the 90 seconds are up before you eliminate them all. When that wave of monsters is finished, you will be given 5 more monsters to choose from, repeating the process for a total of 5 stages. The correct recipe ingredients are as follows:

Dish Ingredients
Stir-fried Pork Ribbon Pig
Portly Pig
Fire Boar
Nependeath
Octopus
Escargot Chunky Snail
Red Snail
Orange Mushroom
Grape Juice Bottle
Potted Sprout
Cold Jellyfish Salad Jellyfish
Cool Jellyfish
Sr. Bellflower Root
Ice Piece
Potted Morning Glory
Mushroom Chow Fun Blue Mushroom
Knife Noodle
Mushmom
Bellflower Root
Bubble Fish
Slime Pudding Slime
Cube Slime
Cherry Bubble Tea
Snowman
Syrup Baron

Stage 4

While the fourth stage is the same as the rest of the stages, there is an additional objective. For the fourth stage, 5 Tasteburners (flame monsters) will spawn on the bottom and must be defeated to prevent the dish from being ruined. One person in your party will be assigned the task of defeating them (if you're solo, it's obviously going to be you).

Stage 6

Before the sixth stage officially starts, you will be asked to pour a certain portion of salt. Each square on the bar below lights up based on the required salt; for example: if you need to pour 7 grains of salt, 7 squares will light up before pressing the button. This part is not mandatory to successfully cook the dish and can be skipped by pressing the button early. If you press the button at the right time, you will receive the Gourmand Power buff which grants +30 Weapon Attack and Magic Attack for 20 minutes[1]. After this part, one of two bosses will spawn: if all ingredients were correct, Mr. Chomps will spawn; if one or more ingredients were incorrect, the Trash Can will spawn. You will have to defeat whichever boss spawns to complete the PQ.

Reward Stage

Kitchen Exit

For the reward stage, talk to Tangyoon to claim your  Chef Certificates and leave. If your dish was a success, you will be given 2  Chef Certificates. If your dish was a failure, you will only be given 1  Chef Certificate.
