Dragon Rider is a Party Quest located in Minar Forest's Leafre region. This Party Quest can be started by clicking on Crimson Sky Doorway at Crimson Sky Dock; it can be accessed by talking to Chief Tatamo in Spiegelmann's Guest House within the Dimensional Mirror, as well as via a portal at The Forest That Disappeared.

The objective of Dragon Rider is to stop the Dragon Rider, who's been terrorizing the citizens of Leafre. The Party Quest requires you to complete a series of quests to obtain the skill Soaring, which is used throughout the Party Quest and only works in the relevant area.

Stages

Stage 1

Crimson Sky 1

For the first stage, you will encounter 20 Soaring Hawks and 20 Soaring Eagles. Use the Soaring skill to fly around the map and eliminate all the monsters to proceed to the next stage.

Stage 2

Crimson Sky 2

For the second stage, you will encounter 13 Soaring Red Wyverns, 14 Soaring Blue Wyverns, 11 Soaring Black Wyverns, and 1 Soaring Griffey. Use the Soaring skill to fly around the map and eliminate all the monsters to proceed to the next stage. Once someone attempts to enter the top portal, everyone in the party will be prompted to press the Up arrow when the button moves in the yellow area. Any party member that does not press the Up arrow within the next few seconds will be kicked out of the PQ.

Stage 3

Crimson Sky Edge

For the third stage, you will have to defeat Dragonoir, using the Soaring skill to fly around the map. It can raise its Weapon Defense and Weapon Attack. Once it is defeated, fly into the cave on the right to proceed to the next stage.

Stage 4

Crimson Sky Nest Entrance

For the fourth stage, use the Soaring skill to fly across to the right side of the map while dodging falling rocks and spears, both of which can stun. Once all players are on the right side, you can proceed to the next stage.

Stage 5

Crimson Sky Nest

For the fifth and final stage, you will have to defeat the Dragon Rider, who will appear when you walk to the right. He can fire a laser at you, charge into you with his claws, drop meteors from the sky, heal, and summon Soaring Black Wyverns. Once defeated, Dragon Rider will drop a  Sky Scale which can be exchanged for rewards from Matada, and occasionally Soul Shards. Once you attempt to exit, Dragon Rider will appear as an NPC, with the quest [Leafre] Tears of Repentance available for you to complete if you haven't already. Upon exiting, you will be given a Dragon Rider's Box based on your job, which contains a random potion, Level 100 - 110 Equipment, or a Level 105 Dragon Weapon.

Any equipment or Party Quest Set effects are calculated after the listed values. Players who are 20 levels or more below the average level of the party (regardless of the level of monsters in the Party Quest) will only receive 20% of the EXP upon completion.
