Xerxes in Chryse is a Party Quest based on El Nath Mts.'s Chryse region. This Party Quest can be started by talking to Michaela in Spiegelmann's Guest House within the Dimensional Mirror.

The objective of Xerxes in Chryse is to help Michaela defeat her corrupted pet goat Xerxes and put an end to his tyranny in Chryse.

Stages

Stage 1

Road to Chryse

For the first stage, you will encounter a large slab of rock, which you can crawl under by holding the Down and Right arrow keys. On the other side will be 3 Rabbits and 3 Golden Rabbits, which can only be eliminated by pressing the Spacebar near one of the four Stormdrivers.

Above the Stormdrivers will be a rock wall that you must place vine bushes on to climb. To do so, press the Interact / Harvest / NPC Chat key on top of a nearby bush to gather it and press the key again on top of the spot to place the bush. Do this a total of 4 times, and then climb the vines to proceed to the next stage.

Stage 2

Coliseum Front Field

For the second stage, you will be given a new grappling hook skill which can be used by pressing or holding the Interact / Harvest / NPC Chat key. Various monsters will continuously spawn in multiple waves throughout this stage, for a few minutes. Periodically, two Weapon Dummies will appear on the top right and bottom left, and each of them will move all the way to the other side of the map; these cannot be defeated, and touching them will stun you and deal 10% HP touch damage. Once you eliminate all the other monsters in this stage, you can proceed to the next stage.

Stage 3

Coliseum Tower

For the third stage, you will enter a brief cutscene where a spinning column with spikes will appear on the bottom of the map. You will need to use your grappling hook skill to hoist yourself to the top of the map before the column reaches you. Once you reach the top of the map, you will automatically move to the next stage.

Stage 4

Coliseum Heights

For the fourth and final stage, you will have to defeat Xerxes. He can cast various abnormal statuses on players such as Reduce Vision, Seal, and Blindness, reducing your accuracy. He can also summon Kephivaras and Tragoses to aid him. Once you defeat Xerxes, you will have 30 seconds to pick up any Soul Shards that may drop before being transported to the Bonus Stage (or you may enter the portal on the right side to do so manually).

Bonus Stage

Coliseum Heights

For the Bonus Stage, you can jump down and collect  Chryse Core Fragments, while using your grappling hook to lift yourself back up. You have 30 seconds to claim as many as possible. If you fall, you will be sent to the Coliseum Tower leading to the exit map.

  • Level 110 - 119: $310,500\times 1.037^{Level-70}$
  • Level 120 - 129: $1,890,000\times 1.025^{Level-120}$, up to Level 129

Any equipment or Party Quest Set effects are calculated after the listed values. Players who are 20 levels or more below the average level of the party (regardless of the level of monsters in the Party Quest) will only receive 20% of the EXP upon completion.
