A beautiful castle located to the southwest of Zipangu. To meet the lord in the Ninja Castle, one must break through the dangerous traps and a bizarre labyrinth within it. There is a hard-to-believe rumor that it is actually a type of testing ground for verifying someone's combat powers.

Ninja Castle is an area in Zipangu based on Japan's Edo period. Various monsters in the form of low-tier to high-ranking ninjas appear, as well as a toad that is impersonating the town's Daimyo. Ninja Castle contains a Party Quest / Dungeon which is accessible by talking to Baetan at Ninja Castle Corridor inside the castle. Navigate through the maze-like dungeon and face off with the toad impostor at the top of the castle to earn various rewards!

This region can be accessed via Perry at Victoria Tree Platform and various Zipangu towns. The final boss of the Ninja Castle PQ / Dungeon is the False Daimyo, who transformed into his true form Gigatoad upon defeat. If you reach the boss in under 10 minutes, he will subsequently transform into his Frenzied Gigatoad form.

Completing the questline will reward Spell Traces and the Belt  Sakura Conqueror Belt. The boss Gigatoad / Frenzied Gigatoad can drop the  Golden Toad Sculpture which can be exchanged for various cosmetics via Princess Suzume.

Ninja Castle Party Quest Guide

There are 3 stages in the PQ: the first stage is 5 riddles, the second stage is a maze, and the third stage is fighting the Daimyo.

Stage 1: Ninja Castle Long Corridor

A weather message will appear in the middle of your screen with a riddle. The answers to the riddle are not random and are floor dependent.

Floor 1:

A dream of black and blue. -> Dark Blue Vase with Flowers.

A sacred mystical creature. -> The golden bear cub.

I'm the only thing that matters in the whole universe. -> Painting of the Daimyo.

The breath of spring, frozen in time. -> Log with Flower.

A gaze that follows you. -> 1st Eyes in the hole.

Floor 2:

A personal garden. -> Log with Flower.

Mind the mouse hole. -> Hole in the wall (white part).

A mysterious land where a sage dwells. -> Vase with a person on it.

Eyes on the back of your head. -> 1st Eyes in the hole.

A cold gaze. -> 2nd Eyes in the hole.

Floor 3:

The tracks of a fugitive. -> Hole with arrows.

A sacred, mystical creature. -> Gigatoad portrait.

A chilling gaze. -> 1st Eyes in the hole.

A gaze that follows you. -> 2nd Eyes in the hole.

A murderous rage that rises within. -> 3rd Eyes in the hole.

Floor 4:

A fragile relationship. -> Gigatoad portrait (black and white).

A devilishly alluring fragrance. -> Green beads in a container.

An object of romance. -> Log with Flower.

A cold gaze. -> 1st Eyes in the hole.

A murderous rage that rises within. -> 2nd Eyes in the hole.

Floor 5:

A small treasure. -> Some trinkets on the table on the floor with a golden bear cub.

A vain display of riches and trophies. -> 2 red candles with a golden toad.

Light, uneven markings. -> Poster with claw marks.

A Chilling gaze. -> 1st Eyes in the hole.

Eyes on the back of your head. -> 2nd Eyes in the hole.

If you make a mistake on any of these floors, you will be sent to one of 4 punishment rooms.

Chamber of Time:

In this room, you will be forced to wait 60 seconds, and then you will be allowed to continue where you left off.

Chamber of Battle:

In this room, you will have to kill a swarm of ninjas to exit, sending you where you left off.

Chamber of Traps:

In this room, you will be forced to complete a mini jump quest to continue where you left off, or exit via the portal on the left (which will take you to the start of the Ninja Castle Long Corridor).

Chamber of Wisdom:

In this room, you will be given 30 seconds to solve a math problem. If you don't solve it within the time or enter the incorrect answer, you will be simply given a new math problem. Once you solve it, you will be allowed to continue where you left off.

Clearing this stage will reward 500,000 EXP.

Stage 2: Ninja Castle Dream Corridor

In this stage, each floor will have 3 doors to choose from. One door will lead you to the beginning (first floor), another will send you down a floor, and the last will send you up a floor. The correct door is completely random, but a notepad is recommended to keep track on where you've been. The sequence is as follows:

  1. Sakura Genin
  2. Sakura Chunin
  3. Sakura Jonin
  4. Sakura Ninto
  5. Sakura Ashigaru
  6. Sakura Musha
  7. Sakura Kunoichi

On the last floor, instead of sending you back to the beginning, it may send you to a separate door with Sakura Musha instead of the previous one you were in, meaning that the correct door will be different from what you've noted down. Do as you've done previously and succeed!

Clearing this stage will reward 873,000 EXP.

Stage 3: Gigatoad

This stage is different depending on how long it took to clear Stages 1 and 2. The third timer will reset to 15 minutes or 30 minutes depending on how long you took.

If the total time it takes you to beat Stages 1 and 2 is over 10 minutes, then you will fight the normal Gigatoad with a timer of 15 minutes.

If the total time is LESS then 10 minutes, then you will be able to fight Frenzied Gigatoad with a timer of 30 minutes.

The boss fight itself is pretty simple, with 3 phases (2 phases if the timer is over 10 minutes).

Phase 1 is the False Daimyo in his human form, who will spam 2 different Full map attacks: flipping a table full of candy and summoning ninjas to rain arrows across the map.

For Phase 2, the Daimyo will transform into his true form of the Gigatoad. This boss can use Magic Cancel, Weapon Cancel, lick you with its tongue, make it rain (a full map attack), summon Sakura Toads, and even create pillars of water!

Phase 3 is the Frenzied Gigatoad, only available if you beat Stages 1 and 2 within 10 minutes. Similar to the previous boss, it can use Magic Cancel, Weapon Cancel, lick you with its tongue, make it rain, and create pillars of water. It also has a few extra moves, such as gassing the entire map and causing you to take small DoT poison and disrupt your vision, as well as spewing gas toward you, spitting poison bubbles at you, and summoning the ninjas in the party quest! This form is very dangerous, unlike the previous forms, as each attack hits hard, so take precautions!

Rewards

Frenzied Gigatoad will always drop a Golden Toad Sculpture which can be exchanged for cosmetics with Princess Suzume at Inside the Castle Gate:

Headgear: Grants All Stats +2; Untradable, 90-day duration.

Coat: Grants All Stats +3, Max HP: +100, Max MP: +100; Untradable, 90-day duration.

Shoes: Grants All Stats +1; Untradable, 90-day duration.
