A Purple Herb and Purple Vein in the
Expert Harvesting Farm

Herbalism is one of MapleStory’s five professions which can be learnt in Ardentmill. It is one of the two core professions, alongside Mining, and must be learnt in order to learn Alchemy. The profession is taught by Saffron, who runs harvesting farms with Cole where players can gather herbs and ores.

Herbalists can harvest Herbs to obtain seeds and flowers, either without a tool or using specialized tools such as a shovel or rake. These materials can then be crafted into oils, which serve as ingredients in Alchemy.
