Milestone (or Chaser in Non-KMS except GMS, The Dark Ride in GMS) is an update following Dreamer. The update includes revamps to Aran and Shade (Eunwol) and a new Level 285+ boss Limbo.

The update also includes many user experience and quality of life improvements, such as main and general quest categories, auto-sorted buffs, skippable boss cutscenes, a practice mode in the Mu Lung Dojo Training Center, stamp collection removed for Maple Guide and a Maple Scheduler to manage daily, weekly and monthly quests.

There are regional differences between the rollout of the update. In Non-KoreaMS servers, the update also includes various content released in the Fall 2024 Update in KoreaMS, such as Epic Dungeon: Angler Company, Monster Park changes, Collector's Request, Tallahart (except GlobalMS[1]), additional user experience and quality of life improvements, as well as skill balancing for various jobs.

1st: Blossoming by Moonshade

  • Job Revamps: Aran and Shade
  • Cubing system changes
  • Maple Scheduler UI, replacing the yellow lightbulb icon
    • Customizable UI to check and access outstanding daily and weekly content
    • Daily and weekly quests can be accepted and completed via this UI, replacing the Batch Accept Arcane/Grandis Daily Quests feature added in Dreamer
  • New Fast Character Switch feature, where character switching can be done without exiting the game or returning to the Character Select screen
  • Growth Path reorganization for Level 200 and below
    • Quests reorganized by new categories, and have their EXP rewards adjusted
    • Recommended quest line that players can complete from Level 30 until Level 200 without requiring to grind
  • Maple Guide UI improvements
    • Content reorganized based on the Growth Path reorganization
    • Upon completion of the respective area prequests, all hunting zone map teleports are automatically unlocked and are all shown at once
  • Character Presets improvements
    • Shortcut Key Presets, providing assignable keybinds for character presets
    • New "No Selection" setting, keeping the current assigned preset when switching to the corresponding Character Preset
  • V Matrix improvements
    • Base slots increased to 12 slots, while maximum slots increased to 30 slots
    • Specific boost node trios can be crafted for 500 shards
  • Total experience required to charge the Arcane Stones for 6th Job Advancement decreased to 10 billion EXP per stone
  • Genesis Weapon quest improvements
    • New UI to check the liberation progress and requirements
    • Black Mage Remnants deleted, though liberation still requires defeating Black Mage Genesis Crux each time to progress
  • Root Abyss boss improvements
    • Gnarled Wooden Keys no longer required to access
    • Chaos bosses can be accessed immediately after quest completion
  • Epic Dungeon improvements
    • New Express Pass option, where players can instantly clear the Epic Dungeon via Maple Points after clearing it once manually
    • Bonus Rewards changed to EXP Bonus and Sol Erda Bonus, offering two levels per bonus type via Maple Points
      • Level 1 offers 5x of the base reward, while Level 2 offers 9x of the base reward
      • Both bonus types offer up to 9x Maple Coins
    • Stage difficulty adjustments
  • Event List UI improvements
    • Icons of each major event can be pressed to see lists of ongoing events
    • Buttons added to easily participate in events
  • Boss Practice Mode Only Buffs in Fog Forest Training Grounds
  • Pet & Android Transparency
  • Spell Trace Fever Time expanded to every Friday to Sunday
  • Blossoming by Moonshade event
  • Page of Memories event
    • Punch King event coin shop replaces boss event coin shop, with better rewards for players who can reach higher stages
    • Event will be compiled and turned into Grand Athenaeum chapters in a future update

  • Item Burning, providing temporary Challenger equipment (3-set Chaos Root Abyss & 5-set AbsoLab), which grows when clearing specific bosses at certain level tiers

2nd: Limbo and HEXA Stat Node II

  • New Boss: Limbo (Normal and Hard)
  • New Equipment: Eternal Shoes, Gloves, and Cape (completing the Eternal set)
  • New Equipment Set: Brilliant Boss Accessory Set
  • New boss rewards
  • Intense Power Crystal reorganization
    • Split into daily, weekly and monthly crystals, with adjustment of selling prices for certain bosses
    • A maximum of 12 weekly crystals can be sold per character (180 crystals maximum per week still applies)
      • Meso difference provided accordingly when higher value crystals are sold
    • Sell Weekly and Sell All buttons added
  • Exceptional Enhancement reorganization
    • Exceptional Parts changed to Exceptional Hammers, including existing Exceptional Parts currently in-game
    • Exceptional Hammers can be used on both Pitched Boss Set and Brilliant Boss Set items
      • Brilliant Boss Set items can be enhanced up to 3 times, with decreasing success rates after each successful enhancement
        • Success rates can be increased by using additional Exceptional Hammers and mesos
    • Exceptional enhancements can be extracted with a 100% success rate using mesos
  • 2nd HEXA Stat Node available for characters who are at least Level 265+, and requires 1st Hexa Stat Node to be Level 20
    • New Hexa Stat-related Sunny Sunday effect: When the main stat is Level 5+, the chance of enhancing the main stat is increased by 20%
  • Boss Cutscene Skip, accessible after the first boss entry
    • Party leaders can press the ESC key to skip cutscenes
    • Disconnections delegate this feature to another party member

    • New buff display format system (Buff Automatic Sort, Buff Minimize, and Buff Bookmarks)
    • Sorted into 4 types: My Job Skills, Other Job Skills, Common Skills, and Items

Chaser (Non-KoreaMS, Except GlobalMS)

Note: This section uses mostly MapleSEA translations as the other Non-KoreaMS servers, except GlobalMS, use similar translated names in their respective languages. Unless otherwise stated, the release order in this section is also mainly based on MapleSEA timeline.

1st: Blooming Moon and HEXA Stat II

In non-KoreaMS servers other than GlobalMS, the major update is instead named as Chaser. Orchid is the main character hosting the events throughout the update, acting as a guide on the lore of existing events introduced in KoreaMS. Throughout the update, players can complete missions related to the main events (One Page in Memory and Dimensional Visitor) as well as boss missions to obtain various rewards including event coins, Sol Erda, Sol Erda Fragments, as well as various Growth Potions and Cubes.

Various quality of life improvements introduced in the KoreaMS Milestone and Fall 2024 Updates are rolled out in the first part of the update. In addition, the update also includes:

  • Job Revamps: Aran and Eunwol
  • 2nd HEXA Stat Core for Level 265+ characters, requiring 1st Hexa Stat Core to be Level 20
  • Skill balancing introduced in the KoreaMS Fall 2024 Update
  • Glowing Soul Crystal and Exceptional Enhancement reorganizations
  • New boss rewards, including Eternal Armor Boxes and boss medals
  • Collector's Request, offering elixirs similar to class party buffs from support classes but cannot be stacked with such skills
  • Monster Park changes, including a new UI, reduction of free clears, and doubled EXP
  • Epic Dungeon multi-stage bonus rewards, offering 4 randomly selected stages per bonus type via Maple Points[2]
    • Players can choose up to 10 times per reward type
    • Fever gauge is added, doubling the bonus rewards once gauge is filled
  • Blooming Moon event
  • One Page in Memory event
  • Chaser: Fate event
  • Hyper Burning+[3] & Tera Blink events
    • One available specifically for Aran or Eunwol, and another available for all characters
  • Zero to One Hundred event

For certain servers as stated below, the update also includes:

  • Wedding system revamp (MapleSEA, ChinaMS, and TaiwanMS only)[4]
    • New wedding hall decorations, a special wedding invitation, and a new Honeymoon Island area
  • New System: Mentorship System (ChinaMS and TaiwanMS only)
    • When activated, Arcane Symbols cost nothing to level up until Level 15
  • Nexon 30th x PlayPark 20th Anniversary Celebration event (MapleSEA only)
  • Burning World (JapanMS only)

The following changes from KoreaMS are not implemented:

4th: Epic Dungeon: Angler Company

In MapleSEA and TaiwanMS, the update also includes:

  • Terry's 20th Anniversary Gifts event, providing various items on the 20th of each month in 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary[9]

5th: Talahart

In MapleSEA, ChinaMS, and TaiwanMS, the update also includes:

  • 2025 Lunar New Year event, including Pit-a-pat Hong Bao and Hong Bao Time[10]

1st: Ride Or Die

In GlobalMS, the major update is instead named as The Dark Ride. Throughout the update, players can fight existing bosses based on their chosen difficulty and additional challenges. Based on the player's performance, they can obtain various items at a set chance including event coins, Chains of Resentment Coupon (for Interactive Worlds only), various Cubes, and Growth Potions. Participating in the event also provides an additional exclusive Legion Block.

Various quality of life improvements introduced in the KoreaMS Milestone and Fall 2024 Updates are rolled out in the first part of the update. In addition, the update also includes:

  • Job Revamps: Aran and Shade Redux
  • Skill balancing introduced in the KoreaMS Fall 2024 Update
  • Familiars Update: New Familiar Card drops in Hotel Arcus
  • Intense Power Crystal and Exceptional Enhancement reorganizations
    • A maximum of 14 weekly crystals can be sold per character (180 crystals maximum per week still applies)
  • Collector's Request, offering elixirs similar to class party buffs from support classes but cannot be stacked with such skills
  • New boss rewards, including Eternal Armor Boxes and boss medals
  • Monster Park changes, including a new UI, reduction of free clears, and doubled EXP
  • Guild Castle changes
  • Ride or Die exclusive event

  • In KoreaMS, TaiwanMS, and JapanMS, Milestone / Chaser is the last major update to include Reboot Worlds as they are converted into Regular Worlds. The conversion is spread across 3 parts.[12][13][14]
  • A number of regional differences came across with this update:
    • In Non-KoreaMS servers, all of the Fall 2024 Update balancing and changes were rolled out in the first part of this update.
    • In KoreaMS, macOS beta was made available beginning with this update.
    • In ChinaMS, the rollout and content for Chaser were modified as follows:
      • Gollux was changed to a weekly boss.
      • [Weekly Quest] Erda's Gift quest was added. In all servers other than KoreaMS and GlobalMS, this was already added during or after the Dreamer Update.
    • In GlobalMS, the Fast Character Switch feature was delayed to the 20th Anniversary Update due to unique launcher specs and login policy.[15]
