Fall 2025 (KoreaMS)

The Assemble Update concluded with the release of the First Adversary. The contents after the Assemble Update and before the Crown Update are listed below.

1st: Epic Dungeon: Nightmare Paradise and Skill Balancing II

  • New Level 280+ Epic Dungeon: Nightmare Paradise, accessible via Arteria, with story focusing on Baekyeon in a Shangri-La setting
  • Epic Dungeon improvements
    • EXP obtained from High Mountain and Angler Company increased for characters above Level 290
    • Bonus Rewards can be checked even if account has insufficient Maple Points
  • Legion Champion changes
    • New slot expansion, requiring all characters in the system to have at least defeated Hard Verus Hilla in Champion Mode
    • Remaining 2 slots not released, but requires all characters to defeat Hard Black Mage and Hard Chosen Seren respectively in Champion Mode
    • Champion Raid balancing changes, including reduced active time and reduced number of waves per stage
  • Part 2 of skill balancing for various classes, including those that are otherwise not covered in Part 1
    • Removal of temporary final damage increase skill from classes affected by this part of skill balancing
  • Genesis Liberation and Destiny Transcendence Boss Missions made available to be done via Practice Mode
  • Further UI improvements including additional display settings as well as quality of life improvements
    • Ability can be reset using spacebar
    • New option to exclude already applied buffs in Buff Sequence
    • Skill and hit effects transparency settings separated in Game Settings UI
    • CTRL + A keys can be used to select all text in chat window
  • Removal of daily character creation limit
  • Implementation of Red Account, restricting accounts that violate the game rules from trading and Auction House activities
    • Uplifting this status requires paying a certain Meso fee depending on the severity
  • Maple Hideout event, themed around the new permanent MapleStory PC Cafe opening
    • Potential rewards include Plasma Heart, a stopgap replacement of the Black Heart removed in the previous update, upgraded from existing Fairy Heart, Titanium Heart, or Liquid Metal Heart
  • Rock Star Rock Spirit event
  • Hangul Day - Hangul Energy event
  • Luxe Sauna event, with various quality of life improvements including a new UI
    • New Maple Home furniture items based on cumulative charge time
    • UI shows the result if all charge time is used
    • New setting to automatically exit the map when a certain level is reached

2nd: Wild Hunter Revamp, World Archive and Skill Balancing III

  • Job Revamp: Wild Hunter
  • Part 3 of skill balancing for remaining classes not covered in Parts 1 and 2
    • Removal of temporary final damage increase skill from these classes
  • World Archive, a new illustrative encyclopedia content featuring collection of monsters and NPCs
  • Intense Power Crystal price adjustments
  • Azmoth Chasm adjustments, including increase in HP and Combat Power requirements
  • New Monster Collection additions
  • Removal of all Potential Stamps, with all existing items increased to 3 potential lines after reset
    • Potential Stamps converted into Power Elixirs
  • Further UI improvements including Equipment Enhancement
  • Boss pattern improvements for Will, Darknell, Verus Hilla, Black Mage, Kaling, and First Adversary

3rd: MapleStory x One-Punch Man

  • Minor skill balancing for various classes
    • Ascent Skills can now be used 3 times in Golden Tomato Farm
    • Skills affected by cooldown reset when entering Sharenian Culvert and Punch King content made the same as boss battle maps
    • New HEXA Matrix Reset Scroll, resetting all HEXA Skill, Mastery, and Enhancement node levels
      • All Sol Erda and Sol Erda Fragments used for enhancement extracted into untradable, consumable items, except items used for Common Node enhancement
      • Players cannot change jobs while holding such items
  • Fog Forest Training Grounds improvements
    • Removal of entry conditions and limits
    • Cooldown reset for most skills, full soul charge for Soul Weapons, and full combo / gauge for certain classes
    • Removal of most buffs when entering
    • New Reset Cooldown feature
  • Quest improvements
    • 5th Job Advancement completion requirements reduced to dialogue, removing the need to defeat monsters and Magnus
    • Removal of skip conditions for Arcane River and Grandis area stories, except Tallahart
    • New skip feature introduced for Kao's Memories and The Day After questlines
  • UI improvements
    • Certain custom backgrounds’ animation features now displayed in the Equipment UI
    • Buff Favorites UI’s display location now saved per resolution and per character
    • Event UI now splits Events/Coin Shops/Cash events into separate tabs within the UI
  • New Auction House feature to confirm purchases when buying equipment that is priced excessively high compared to its assessed value, to prevent equipment purchase errors
  • World Archive changes, including new information on certain NPCs and monsters
  • Cash item improvements
    • Unification of Hair and Face Coupons
    • Wisp’s Wonderberry usage reorganization, including direct usage via Cash Shop, new option to open 5 at once, as well as new animation
    • New Face Accessory Emote Synthesis Coupon, allowing combination of decorative face accessory with emote face accessory to make the decorative face accessory do that emote by default
  • One-Punch Man collaboration event, including a temporary event job, Saitama
  • Monster Park Mayhem! event
  • [Winter Pre-Registration] Winter Countdown event

Various quality of life updates introduced in the 3rd part of the KoreaMS Assemble as well as all of KoreaMS Fall 2025 Updates are rolled out in this update. In addition, the update also includes:

  • Boss system reorganization introduced in the KoreaMS Assemble Update, including 12 weekly boss defeat limit
  • Valuables UI improvements, including direct enhancement of Innis's Jewel
  • New Ring Exchange skill, offering instant Special Skill Ring swaps
  • New Level 280+ Epic Dungeon: Nightmare Paradise, accessible via Arteria, with story focusing on Baekyeon in a Shangri-La setting
  • Union Champion 4th slot expansion and Champion Raid changes
  • Skill balancing for all jobs except Wild Hunter[1]
  • World Archive, a new illustrative encyclopedia content featuring collection of monsters and NPCs, with addition of Zipangu and Jianghu content
  • Monster Collection expansion, with addition of Zipangu monsters

    • Missions include level range mobs, weekly boss defeats, and Cash Shop spending
    • Rewards include Advanced EXP Coupons and Sol Erda Fragments, as well as a Mithra's Rage emblem with up to Legendary Potential and Unique Additional Potential
  • Crown Countdown event, similar to the Winter Countdown event introduced in KoreaMS with changes to account for server differences

Trivia

  • The Maple Hideout event promoted MAPLE AGIT, a real-life internet cafe located at Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea.
  • A number of regional differences came across with this update:
    • The Plasma Heart reward was introduced in various events depending on the server:
      • In KoreaMS and GlobalMS, this was released during the Maple Hideout / New Leaf Mall event.
      • In MapleSEA and TaiwanMS, this was released during the Monster Park Uproar! event instead.
      • In JapanMS, this was released during the Carcion Octo Festa event instead.
      • In ChinaMS, this was not released and remains unavailable.
    • In Non-KoreaMS servers, the following differences apply, with some notable exceptions:
      • The skill balancing and quality of life improvements introduced in the third part of the Assemble Update as well as the Fall 2025 Update in KoreaMS was consolidated and released in the post-update.
        • Intense Power Crystals did not have their prices adjusted, likely due to varying game economy factors.
      • Red Account was not implemented as this system only exists in KoreaMS.
      • Maple Hideout, Hangul Day - Hangul Energy, Camilia's Autumn Colored Store, and [Halloween Event] Night of the Yetis events were not released.
        • In GlobalMS, the Maple Hideout event was reskinned to New Leaf Mall.
        • Hangul Day events generally only exists in KoreaMS, while the other two events are exclusively released during the Autumn and Halloween period in other servers.
      • The Wild Hunter revamp introduced in the 2nd part of the Fall 2025 Update in KoreaMS was delayed to the Crown Update.
        • In GlobalMS, the Wild Hunter revamp was introduced in the 2nd part of the Post-Update, similar to the KoreaMS implementation.
    • In MapleSEA and TaiwanMS, the paid items and probability-related changes were brought forward from the Post-Crown Update to this update.
    • In GlobalMS, the World's Best Punch King event was changed to a standard Punch King event, offering coins but no rank-based rewards.
