Golden Temple is a theme dungeon in Ossyria's Mu Lung Garden region. The Golden Temple has been overrun by crazy monkeys! Worse, the monks that guard the temple have started to disappear, one by one. Head to the temple and save it before it's too late!

This region can be accessed by talking to the Crane in Mu Lung Temple for 1,000 Mesos. It is divided into two sections: Forest of Training and Abandoned Temple as a sub-area, and you slowly gain access to all maps as you progress through the questline. The final boss for this area is a malevolent demon named Ravana.

Completing the questline will reward the Medal  Seeker of Gilded Truth. The boss Ravana can drop  Ravana's Golden Crown, as well as the rare  Ravana Helmet.

Trivia

• Prior to the area's introduction as a theme dungeon, Golden Temple existed in two other forms. It was originally created to be part of the original ThailandMS's Thailand / Siam region as an area of the same name, which was accessible via a portal in Floating Market. Some time later, it was reintroduced as an Event Dungeon for other regions, before finally becoming the theme dungeon that exists to this day.
• Despite releasing in most regions in 2012, Japan Maplestory did not receive the Theme Dungeon until 2022, 10 years after its permanent release elsewhere.
• In the death animation for the Teeny White Monkey, it can be observed that the monster does not die, and instead simply gains a malicious look on its face; this is due to the fact that in the original ThailandMS release of Golden Temple, it would instantly transform into a Furious White Monkey as a reinforcement upon defeat.
• In GlobalMS v225, Ganapati was censored due to its resemblance to a Hindu deity of the same name, and renamed to Stone Goblin Guardian.
