This abandoned mineshaft burrows deep into the El Nath Mountains.
It was once the lifeblood of the local town's economy. Now all that's left is a shell of its former glory, a ghost town haunted by the echoes of its former inhabitants tortured by Zakum's undead thrall.

Dead Mine is a sub-area in El Nath. It is a dungeon that leads to the mines where ancient miners once found a spirit sealed within a tree, which would eventually become Zakum. On the road to the mines, an ancient castle can be seen in the background.

This region can be accessed on foot by talking to Jeff at Ice Valley II; players must be 50+, though this can be bypassed via the Danger Zone Taxi or World Map UI. It is divided into five sections: Sharp Cliffs, where normal Yetis and Pepes, as well as their counterparts infused with darkness, roam, Wolves' Territory, home to bipedal werewolves, Forest of Dead Trees where zombified El Nath residents are continuously resurrected, Dead Mine, which is full of zombified miners, and The Cave of Trials, a lava-themed area populated by hellhounds. The Dead Mine and The Cave of Trials are both Star Force areas, consisting of maps which require 50 and 55 Star Force or higher, respectively.

The Major Bosses Zakum and Mori Ranmaru can be fought here; Zakum is an enormous evil-spirit-possessed statue constructed unwillingly by the possessed townspeople of El Nath (possibly with the assistance of Spiegelmann) that serves as the final boss for this area, while Mori Ranmaru is an underling of Oda Nobunaga who is using the Dead Mine's caves as a secret hiding spot to perform a ritual. In addition, two field bosses can be encountered here: Nyalmo, a yeti-like cross between a human and the Spirit of Snow, and Lich, an undead sorcerer who uses necromancy to bring the Zombies back to life. Lion King's Castle can also be accessed from Sharp Cliff 4.
