Crack in Time is a sub-area in the Temple of Time that is unlocked when doing the first Silent Crusade questline. Arkarium has attempted to travel into the past to steal Rhinne's powers of time and kill the Demon to prevent him from weakening the Black Mage, which would in turn stop the Black Mage from being sealed by the Heroes. The Silent Crusade has sent you to the Temple of Time to track Arkarium and thwart his plans. The area contains a past version of Leafre and the Temple of Time from before the Black Mage's sealing a few centuries prior. Past versions of a few Heroes can be found here, namely Aran with Maha, Mercedes, and Freud with Afrien.

This region can be accessed on foot a portal on the right side of the Temple of Time's Three Doors. It is divided into three sections: Leafre of Past, Dark Temple of Time, and Dimensional Schism, with the Dark Temple of Time only being accessible during the first Silent Crusade questline and the Dimensional Schism being unlocked at the end of the same questline. Players can access these sections by entering the portal on the right side of the Crack in Time, which will give players the option to move to either Leafre of Past or Dimensional Schism. The monsters in the area consist of Leafre and Temple of Time monsters corrupted by the Black Mage. The Major Boss Arkarium can be fought here. Note that teleportation items and skills do not work in this area.

Completing the first Silent Crusade questline up to [Silent Crusade] The Last Report will reward the Ring  Platinum Cross Ring and the Title  Superior Hunter, and unlock access to the Arkarium Boss Battle for all characters within the same world.

Defeating Arkarium allows players to obtain the following:

• The Pendant  Mechanator Pendant (Easy and Normal mode)
• The Pendant  Dominator Pendant (Normal mode only)
• Recipes for the Pendant  Dominator Pendant (Easy and Normal mode)
• Recipes for the Rings  Guardian's Eternal Ring,  Berserker's Eternal Ring,  High Lord's Eternal Ring, and  Oracle's Eternal Ring (Easy and Normal mode)

In addition, defeating Arkarium in Normal mode will reward the Medal  Silent Crusade Champion by talking to Bastille via the light-bulb on the left side of the screen or in Edelstein.
